Good for these guys.
Money well earned IMO.
the third round is the only thing that kept condit’s fight from being a co-fight of the night. great card top to bottom.
Diaz also won a bonus for “Mean Mug of the Night” for the scowl and arm flairing before the fight.
If I talked and lisped like him, I’d be pretty pissed off too.
Maybe Diaz’s lithp is connected somehow to his manorexia?
Great effing fights. Crazy Tim and Nate the Rock put on a fantastic show. In fact, all three of the telvised fights were superb.
*Four not three.
i dont know about you guys but i was real impressed with jake ellenberger. He should get a match with Hendricks or something, he was impressive in the beginning for sure.
damage wise ellenbereger should have won, but condit controlled the later parts of the fight
I was also really impressed with him. Even though he lost, he put in a hellof an effort and almost pulled it off. I started rooting for him about half way through even though I didn’t really care either way before the fight. I wouldn’t have been surprised if he won the decision. Look forward to see what he can do with proper prep for his next fight.
Agreed. He reall impressed me. I think the only reason why he lost is becasue he started to dwindle in the later parts of the round due to his conditioning not being up to par. If he would have had time to prepare his conditioning would have been better and more than likely would have handed Condit his second loss in the octagon.
Nate Quarry and Tim Credeur was a super sick fight. Everytime Nate was in trouble of gertting tko’d he came back with a big punch that dropped TIm which made for an awesome fight, i knew that would be fight of the night for sure.
I wasnt too sure if anything could come close to Sanchez vs Guida for Fight of the Year but iono Quarry and Credeur might have edged them out.
I’d have to agree with you BZUL3,
Diego vs Guida was a great match. Especially the first 30 seconds but in that fight the only time we saw any of the two in real danger of being finished was when diego landed that left kick on guida and dropped him. Other than that it was a great pace and back and forth grappling battle.
Nate vs Tim was a whole different fight that displayed incredible durability and heart. Just when you thought quarry was going to get knoced out, he threw his right hand and dropped credeur. Or just when you though credeur was out, he would exploed with strikes and kicks and he dropped quarry. It was more exciting than diego vs guida because these guys were battling to stay alive the entire fight. Both awesome fights but i honestly think nate vs tim has dethroned diego vs guida for fight of the year dude.
Well earned bonuses!
