Cormier-Bader will headline UFC Fight Night 68, which will be hosted by the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.
Cormier (15-1) threw down with the champ Jones at UFC 182 last month, and lost via unanimous decision.
Not long ago, Cormier expressed an interest in fighting Alexander Gustafsson next, but UFC boss man Dana White relayed that the promotion had other plans in mind. Cormier is positioned at #3 in the 205 rankings.
Bader (19-4) has been steadily climbing the UFC rankings thanks to a four fight winning streak, which includes a decision over Phil Davis in January. “Darth” is currently ranked #5.
So, that’s a big fight that has a lot riding on it.
