I’ve seen guys spit off 1/2 pound…
Or do like lutter and shave their head.
but wasn’t he like 4 lbs over for his fight with the Spider?
ya something like that. The head shave was a last ditch effort to get some weight off.
He has had issues cutting the last day and a half, Cesar Gracie was say he doesn’t see Nate fighting 155 much longer…. Um he better start beefing up cuz WW is gonna be difficult for the kid, no matter how good his jitz is……
170 is tough just because there is so much talent in that division. Maybe if Diaz isn’t trying to keep his weight down to stay at 155 he will grow into his frame a bit more. Nick seems to have filled out pretty well for the 185lb class and he was super skinny when he was Nates age.
I hope the cut doesnt hurt him in this fight. Would have to see Nate go 0-3.

Yeah diaz is one scronny as dude! The ww’s will toss him around like edith backstage @ ufc 100! If you look @ all of diaz’s wins, they have been off of his back becaue dudes were handling him and took him down. Because of his awesome jitz he pulled of subs, but like FR said, he’s going to have to hit the gym or GNC is he doesn’t want to literally get broken.
Edith wasn’t backstage. She got canned that day, remember.
that’s not what gsp said!
Its going to be a good nite of fights no matter what the outcomes are. Then on to the the new season of TUF. Yeah definitly a good nite yeah.
Maybe this tough cut for Diaz will cure him of his manorexia, and we’ll see him from here on out at 170, after he secures the services of a strength and fitness guy who specializes in bulking up instead of cutting down…
That way we can see him get beat up by a whole new batch of fighters that are bigger and stronger than he is.
Exactly.
yeah, i agree with jcohl. Nate is probably going to fight in 170 from here on out i think. These guys are full time athletes and with Nate’s frame I’m sure he gotta be around 165-170 walking around.
Say what you want about the Diaz’s but they do work their asses off and have a great work ethic.
