I am excited for both of these fights. Hardy is quickly becomming a favorite of mine and I always like to watch Bisping lose. The downside is I am not so sure Kang can beat Bisping. Kang was a savage in Pride but he hasn’t shown those same skills lately. Hopefully he is able to show them vs Bisping.
? The main event. Really wanted to goto this card but it’s a bit lame at the moment.
I think Bisping will employ his Lebon tactic by trying get enuff points to get the ud against Kang.
I like Hardy in this fight. Hardy by tko 2nd rd.
I set aside 170 quidish for this event but as it goes i wont be going for sure unless it is drastically improved, i understand putting on some local English fighters but theyve turned this into another British vs The rest of the world card like the last few UK UFC events. The UK fans do want to see a Terry Etim or Dan Hardy or Michael Bisping on the card but not all of them, but also want to see a Brock Lesnar, Rampage Jackson or GSP, come on UFC sort it out
.
dito!
Who will fight in the main event???
Hamill vs Jones is an interesting fight. Jones has serious skill but Hamill is most likely going to out power and out wrestle Jones and pound out a tko or decision. If the fight stays standing than Jones can problably get a tko but Hamill is no pushover, he did Cro-cop Munoz, i have Hamill winning a decision, his wrestling is too good IMO and the dude is a smart and strong fighter.Edit~ FR702
wrong thread
wrong artilce, my bad
, i’m busy at work so i’m commenting as i go along, haha my bad
Kang via tko or sub or maybe even ref stoppage, Bisping has a lot of ground work to do and some striking to work on. Kang is experiences and is a decent all around guy that will give Bisping problems for sure. Kang takes this one.
Kym is going to beat Hardy, Hardy has good stand-up and decent Muay Thai but Kym is a sick Judo fighter with a decent all around game and is in better physical form so i give him this fight.
I waited til you reposted it on the proper thread before edit good stuff
thanks fr702, i try to post fast cuz my boss gets on my nerves and if she catches me i’ll have to hear her divorced-can’t get a boyfriend-taking it all out on me bull$hit….oh well later ya’ll
Just doing what I do
Bisping vs Kang is going to be pretty boring IMO. Kang’s gonna wrestle and Bisping is going to be sprawling the whole time. Bisping by split.
Outlaw vs Stun Gun, now thats going to be a good fight. We still don’t know how Hardy is on the ground since he really doesn’t spend much time there. He did manage to neutralize Davis’s ground game, but I think the grappling skills of Kim is much more of a strength for him. He is nasty at ground n pound. I love Hardy, I met him at The Ult. Finale 9 and I think he’s going to win R1, but i think Kim’s going to take the next two.
I say have Henderson vs Marqardt as the main event its better than Bisping vs Kang
I’d say me fighting my mother is more appealing than bisping vs kang, UK gets some horrendous cards, iv missed 1 since they came over here and that was 99 in cologne and to be honest what the ufc need to realise is putting bisping on the card doesnt make it an automatic hit, id rather let him fight in the US all the time let u guys keep him,
ill no doubt be goin but i hope for my sanity and wallets sake they give us a couple big names headlining
Lil Nog vs Griffin wud do
I think this card will end up being shown for free on Spike.
I hate to say it but….Bisping via Decision
Kim vs Hardy is an awesome fight. I like Kim, but if Hardy catches him with a big hook, Kim’s night could end quick. However if Kim can get a hold of Hardy, he could pull out a submission or take it to a decision.
Too difficult to pick a winner.
hardy just recived his purple belt in jui jitsu from eddie bravo and i really think that will be a factor in this fight….not to mention hardy trains with freddie roach…good night dong hyun kim…i like you but hardy is to good for you…….i really think hardy is a future champ
Not sure to make of who will win either of these fights. The Bisping-Kang fight is a must win for Kang. It will sort out where they are in the division, but beyond that there is no real intrigue.
Hardy v. Kim I like, and I personally hope Stun Gun can pull out the win. Both fighters are good, and this will help them with their standings in the division, but it’s not really a huge fight, nor are either of them stars.
I hope the rumors about Little Nog making his debut at this event are true, and the rumors that this one will be available to us in the States on Spike.
I would think that Kang really needs to win this fight in order to cement a roster spot in the UFC. That alone should be motivation enough for him to win, but he’s inconsistent IMO, and I think basically a .500 fighter in the last couple of years.
Bisping on the other hand comes into this fight with an entire nation behind him, as always when he fights in the UK, and is probably looking for a meausre of redemption after the Hendo debacle.
Long story short, Kang needs to get Bisping on the ground and work his blackbelt-level BJJ in order to win, and Bisping probably really wants to knock this guy out to make a statement, but can also win by his usual sprawling and brawling routine.
Not that I’m a fan of the Count, but this seems like a solid win for him whether its stopped early or goes the distance…
Lets go Kang!!
IMO i can’t see a way for bisping to win this fight other than by decision. And what I mean by that is that he’ll move in jab then move out, move in jab, then move out. With an aggressive fighter like kang, he’s going to have to come in guns blazing and ready for the kill or he will lose. Kang, is a decent fighter with some credible stand up and he will come after you till he finishes you or you finish him. He was whoooopin on belcher before he got caught in a sub. Kang’s got more tools than bisping and imo is a tougher fighter with plenty of motivation coming into this fight. Bisping’s got some speed and technical striking. He’s fighting, yet again! in his native land and IS coming off of a knock out of the century loss to hendo so i’m guessing he’s going to be pretty motivated himself. Should be a great fight. Kang will tko or sub him in the second or third round.
Hardy has become a guy i like and would like to see him win more. Kim is an underrated fighter who’s got some crazy grappling skills. This should also be a great fight for UFC105.
Who’s the headliner?
