Ross Pearson vs. Aaron Riley Added to UFC 105 on November 14
In his first fight since winning the lightweight tournament on The Ultimate Fighter 9, Ross Pearson will return to the Octagon to take on Aaron Riley at UFC 105 on November 14 in Manchester, England, according to MMA Weekly.
Pearson (9-3) won three-straight fights over AJ Wenn, Richie Whitson, and Jason Dent on the reality series before defeating Team UK teammate Andre Winner in June to win the 155-pound tourney.
Riley (28-11-1) avenged a controversial March loss to Shane Nelson in his most-recent fight in August, defeating Nelson by unanimous decision at UFC 101. He previously picked up notable wins against Jorge Gurgel and Michihiro Omigawa as well as losses to Spencer Fisher, Eddie Alvarez, Yves Edwards, and Robbie Lawler.
UFC 105 is expected to air on Spike TV and is rumored to include Michael Bisping vs. Denis Kang, Dan Hardy vs. Dong Hyun Kim, and James Wilks vs. Matt Brown.

I really hope either Pearson or Wilks turn out to be quality ufc fighters. Whilst we Brits have one or two fighters to cheer for compared to none from years gone by, its doubtful if any of them will compete for titles any time soon.
Give them time. It took Forest quite a few years to get a shot at the UFC title. I dont think anyone would have thought hed taste UFC gold when he was on TUF.
Good fight. Riley definately has the chin and experience to weather any kind of storm Pearson throws his way. Should be entertianing nonetheless.

Its not a fight I was looking to see, but if it makes the home folks happy, and continues to help the sport gain traction in the UK, I’m onboard…
Riley is serious vet and I see him taking this UD easily.
Riley does have the experience, good technical striking and probably under rated submission skills, but Ross has a relentless pace and is just as comfortable anywhere, i think Ross will outwork him, Riley give up his back in round 2, Pearson Rear Naked Choke
aaron riley is my first cousin and ive tried to wrestle with him and im on high school wrestling team and he put me on my back istantly trust me hes gonna mess this guy up…..
