UFC 104 Press Conference Today in Los Angeles Open to Public
The UFC will hold a press conference on Tuesday at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles to promote its October 24 “UFC 104: Machida vs. Shogun” event, which takes place at the Staples Center in LA.
The day’s events kick off at 8am PT, as fans can tune in to hear UFC President Dana White on KROQ’s Kevin & Bean show. Then, at 9:20am PT, White will be joined by UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida and challenger Mauricio “Shogun” Rua on KTLA’s morning show. Finally, at noon, Machida, Rua, Cain Velasquez, and Ben Rothwell will meet the media for the UFC 104 press conference.
Though most of the focus at the press conference will be on UFC 104, White headed to Los Angeles on Monday with hopes of finalizing a deal with an undisclosed network to air a November event headlined by BJ Penn vs. Diego Sanchez. If finished, the deal could be announced as early as today.
Stay tuned to MMAFrenzy.com for UFC news when/if it is announced later today.

BJ Penn vs Diego Sanchez, not Kenny Florian
Fixed, thanks for the heads up.
I can’t even think about what channel down here in TX he could put it on. UNless its the normal. ABC, NBC, CBS stuff
Maybe ESPN is the big one I guess that would kind of make sense seeing that they are covering it on occasion.
Maybe its lifetime
is it going to be: NBC? ABC? OR Fox? we can safely rule out cable only channels…
Considering they already have a UK deal in effect with ESPN, it’s looking like ABC to me, although some would say it would likely be better suited for the FOX crowd… but likely ABC IMO
I’m fairly certain I heard rumors of it being on the Womens network. I could watch it right after my cooking shows.
I think it would be funny if the UFC was going to be on the SciFi Channel, right after their pro wrestling show…
I would love to see it on ESPN. Hopefully this deal doesnt fall through like the HBO deal in the past.
