Poor Tuchscherer. That guy just had some bad luck that night. I give him HUGE props for fighting and not taking the DQ though. I’ve never seen someone blasted below the belt so hard they puked before. That was insane.

Honestly, some of the partisan crowd was a little piSSed with Lavigne, but truth to tell I couldn’t decide if Leben, a known puncher, was still swinging, albeit feebly, or tapping.
And that triangle was snug, but not so snug that a man still couldn’t fire a few shots in a vain hope to extricate himself.
Although the ref obviously had a far better viewpoint than we in the crowd did…

Watch the second angle(that shows Yves), it’s hard to tell if he’s throwing little rabbit shots or tapping. I think it was a tap too but I could see why Yves hesitated(which if you see that angle he clearly starts and stops before moving in).

Herman really showed how tough he is. I’ve seen a lot of guys in his situation who would have looked for a way out of the fight, but he continued(even though it was a bad idea). but he was in his hometown also so that problably gave him the extra boost to want to continue the fight. I hope he comes back soon.

I still didn’t like how Lavigne waited till Leben went completely out to stop the fight because Leben clearly tapped, anyone who saw that knows that i was a tap, even if Leben waited till the last second to tap, he tapped and Lavigne didn’t stop the fight, but to be fair i’m not a ref and he has come under fire recently so i can understand why he hesitated a bit, but still when i guy taps he’s telling the ref to do what he gets paid to do and thats stop the fight.

People in the RoseGarden knew Herman was hurt, at least in my section, which went from drunken rowdiness to Sunday Mass in the space of seconds…

Undertood Yeah dude herman’s a tough guy and one who could overcome something like this. Wasn’t trying to be negative i was just unclear of what the article was saying.

Injuries like that are scary dude. Like I said before, he’s got a school back home but some other fighters (Corey HIll), have nothing to fall back on. Mike Brown (FW champ) said it best, these fighters put their health and in some ways their lives on the line everytime they step in the cage.

“suspended indefinitely” specifically means that he has been suspended for a time period which is “without fixed or specified limit” or “not clearly defined or determined; not precise or exact.”

Often “indefinite” can be a long time, but really it just means that they don’t have enough information to set a time frame, and that it will be up to doctor to determine when/if he will be back.

Yeah, but I was just trying to keep a positive spin on things is all, jazz.
Plus, if the rumors are true and it is a dislocated kneecap, it isn’t inconceivable that the Ginger Ninja could make his way back to the Octagon…
