what jcohl isn't telling everyone is that he secretly wears a deathclutch shirt to sleep... ;)

In all seriousness though the telecast showed the look on Nog's face it was classic. Kind of like wow... I'd like to fight in Rio now...

I agree on Lesnar, while Couture may have some off the mat issues(4 ex-wives now I believe) when it comes to the sport the guy is a class-act and a great ambassador.

I've been to over a dozen live UFC events, and I don't know how many smaller shows wherein mutiple local boys have made some crazy entrances, including native fire dancers at a Rumble on the Rock in Hawaii.
However nothing, and I mean nothing, compared to Couture's entrance Saturday night, which makes BigNog's win even that much more impressive.
You could literally feel the genuine emotion for the man in the crowd. At one point right before the fight started, BigNog had a look on his face as he scoped out the arena that almost said, "I can't beleive this sh!t. They're cheering like madmen and we haven't thrown a single strike or locked up yet".

As it relates to Brock Lesnar, I've made no secret about how I regard his behavior within our sport, whether it be real or staged, but IMO "hanging" with the Natural can only make him a better sportsman, and maybe a btter person.
MMA hasn't got a better ambassador than Randy Couture, and even if a little bit of his "Couturity" rubs off on Lesnar, perhaps we can see the last of the Vanilla Gorilla, and the emergence of a HW champion fans of the sport can be proud of...

I found Brock's presence to be a good thing. Honestly, unless you've met him where it's not a promotional event you don't really see how the guy is. When I met him years ago he was quite humble and really laid back. A lot of what he does is an act and I think he takes it too far but he really isn't a complete d1ck to everyone outside of the promotional stuff. As much as he said he didn't respect anyone I think he showed respect to Randy since Randy showed respect to Brock as a fighter.
