The scrap will co-headline UFC FN 61, which will take place at the Gigantinho Gymnasium in Porto Alegre, Brazil, and will feature Rashad Evans versus Glover Teixeira in the main event.
Barboza (15-2) will be looking to build on his recent victories over Evan Dunham and Bobby Green, which have moved the highlight reel striker into the #6 ranking at 155. The only man to defeat Barboza in his last five fights is Donald Cerrone.
Johnson (15-8) is currently sitting in the #12 ranking slot, and is coming off consecutive wins over Gleison Tibau, Joe Lauzon and Melvin Guillard. Prior to those victories, Johnson dropped back-to-back fights to Myles Jury and Reza Madadi.
Some of the other fights that are currently set for UFC FN 61 include Sam Alvey vs. Cezar Ferreira, Rustam Khabilov vs. Adriano Martins, and Matt Dwyer vs. William Macario.
