Funny how his book happens to be laying out on his desk. Little plugin.

  • Hope he keeps making these videos, reminds me why I can’t wait to see one of these guys destroy him…Belfort, Jackson, Griffin, Rashad, Rua, Lil Nog, Franklin, I would include Machida but he’s not going to make it that far. He11, Coleman might retire HIM!

  • jcohl says:

“…I think Mark Coleman has had a little hatred for me [since the Evan Tanner fight]…”

I’ve got news for Jacob, Coleman isn’t the only one looking to shellack your porn-star pumping and subtle book pimping a$$ in the Octagon.
And the last thing I ever expected was to get a lesson in how to sign a contract from Tito Ortiz and Punishment Films, whatever the he11 they’re supposed to be.
    ;)

If after watching this vid you’re aching to see Ortiz slathered in chum and thrown into a shark tank, that is EXACTLY the reason why Dana White brought him back. Thousand will tune in to see him fight, all wearing those goofy-a$$ Punishment Athletics head condoms or unimaginative t-shirts, and thousands more will be tuning in to see Coleman beat Ortiz like he owes him money.
Either way its all good for the UFC, and by extension, its all good for the sport…

  • Figs says:

Watching this once again reminded me of how much of a douchebag this guy is. I want 4:45 of time back in my life.

  • Jenkinsss says:

Interesting to see the whole contract signing process.

He seems pretty cocky but hey, thats Tito for ya. Seriously though, i dont see Coleman winning the fight. Ortiz is a better, stronger fighter than Stephen Bonnar. He might not be as well rounded as Bonnar….but still, hes just better overall. And he has always had great cardio. Im still wont count Coleman out of this one…I just think his chances of pulling off the upset are slim.

    • Figs says:

I think Tito “should” win this fight, but there is no easy fights in the UFC these days. In recent histoty Tito has had no success with good/accomplished wrestlers. So really, until the fight is over it will never be as obvious am outcome as one would think.

  • windmiller says:

someone should tell Tito that he can wiegh 206 pounds he can wiegh 205 1/2!!!!!!!!!!!

he hasn’t been in a title fight in how many YEARS??

O, and i won’t call it a come back because you have been here for years (exsept the YEAR he has been off)

And i won’t call it a come back because…. your coming back for the title?

    WTF? WTF? WTF? WTF? WTF?

does this guy just like the sound of his own voice or something? i guess he has been working on fighting sooooo much, he forgot that he should make sence when he talks!!

  • Ron says:

i agree with everyone. ortiz is entertaining and is a familiar face with the sport for its good to see him fight again. always been that hate him or love him type of fighter.

  • Wonderbread says:

I’m surprised that this fight is expected to generate a lot of heat. Two guys whose time is past just doesn’t seem like an intriguing match-up no matter how much people want to see Ortiz get his face caved in. Have to say, if this match had been on an Affliction card many of the same people that are hyping the fight would be ripping it as being two UFC cast-offs. I’m just glad that at least we get the HW fight on this card which, at least for me, makes it a must buy.

  • Sega11 says:

man anyone that thinks that old man Coleman is going to win this fight is a DREAMER! Tito is going to kill that old fool! really i can’t see Tito losing a round little losing the whole thing! I don’t know how well he’s going to do in later fights but HES NOT LOSING THIS ONE!!! not by a long shot

    • jcohl says:

      “Old fool?”!
I agree that Ortiz will probably have a field day with an older opponent, Sega11, but lets try to afford Mark Coleman some respect here, especially as he is coming off a win against a younger, more skilled opponent in Stephan Bonnar.
Coleman is an early pioneer in both Japanese-style shoot-fighting and MMA, so lets please keep the harshness to a minimum, hm?
      ;)

  • Sega11 says:

Stephan Bonnar is not more skilled man in his last six ufc fights hes won 2. its not a big win by any means! i give coleman some respect but hes old and a fool for making a run in the Worlds premire whightclass!

    • jcohl says:

      “Not more skilled?!”
Presumably you mean that you don’t think that Stephan Bonnar is more skilled than Mark Coleman? If I’m mistaken, I apologize, but if that is what you mean then you need to consider the following:
      - Bonnar holds a purple belt in BJJ from Carlson Gracie, and was a former Pan Am BJJ Gold medalist in the blue belt division
      - Bonnar is a former Golden Gloves champion
      - Bonnar has competed in Thailand and won Thai boxing tournaments
      - Bonnar trains with legendary kickboxer Duke Roofus
      - Bonnar has won multiple 2005 “Fight of the Year” awards for his TUF finale with Forrest Griffin
      - and with the exception of Jon Jones, every person to beat Stephan Bonnar is a former or current world champion at LHW or HW.

When you compare Bonnar’s VARIED skill set to Coleman’s one-dimensional ground and pound methodology, you’ll see how Bonnar is in fact more SKILLED, if not necessarily more successful to date at this point in his career.
Overall Coleman, a much older man, had a load of success in the sport’s early days, and shoot-fighting in Japan for PRIDE, and therefore has the more impressive resume.
However that does not make him more SKILLED than Stehpan Bonnar.
I hope that clears my post up for you…

    • chrisl says:

guess you would be an old fool if you were making a run at the premiere Whightclass… not sure what that is but it sounds racist… ;)

  • DigYourOwnHole says:

I canceled the video after Tito stumbled over “discretion” the 2nd time.

Is it possible for them both to lose? I’m rooting for the ref I guess.

I would rather see new talent at 205.

  • bsbiz says:

… And for his next vlog, Tito will show us how to use a toaster oven.

  • YZFOXRACING says:

YOU GUYS MAY CALL ME CRAZY AND SAY WHAT YOU WANT BUT I THINK TITO IS BACK TO HIS OLD SELF. IM NOT SAYING HE’LL BE A CHAMPION CUZ I WOULD HATE THAT. BUT I HAVE A FEELING HE WILL MAKE A RUN FOR IT. I SEE HIM GETTING PAST COLEMAN AND ANOTHER FIGHTER BUT AFTER THIS BS DANCING WITH THE STARS CRAP I SEE A TITO/CHUCK FIGHT COMING OUR WAY.

PS. COMING FROM A GUY WHO JUST DOESN’T LIKE TITO. SIMPLE AS THAT.
