Dana White Vlogs Discontinued, Videos Removed From YouTube
Dana White’s popular video blog series, which follows the UFC President leading up to the promotion’s events, has been discontinued and all of the vlogs have been removed from the UFC’s YouTube channel.
“I made the decision not to do the blogs anymore. I am the one that took them down. They were fun while they lasted, and thanks to everyone for the support,” White recently told CBS Radio host Carmichael Dave.
The vlogs, which began with UFC 87 last August, had been expected to stop following a controversial verbal tirade by White against a female journalist in one of the videos from April, but the series quickly resumed.
White’s most-recent video blogs were posted late last week ahead of UFC 101.

i never really cared for the Vlogs
LOL WHAT ARE VLOGS…
Video Blogs
damn, missed 101’s.
i love the back stage insite from dana’s blog i will miss them , and dont get HBO in my cable pakage here in canada so iam sol
I loved the Vlogs. Some where boring, but most were very funny and you got to see a lot of the fighters outside of what’s shown to us via countdowns.
RIP Dana’s Vlogs…
Not gonna miss them much, save for the candid behind the scenes footage of events and fighters. Kinda sh!tty that they’re comparing an HBO series with huge cameras, lights, mics and production crew to Dana’s boy walkin around with a camera phone or small digital recorder. People automatically act different in front of those kinda cameras, especially when they know its going to be aired nationally. “Outside the Octagon” my a$$.
Good for some profit though.
Yeah, only a matter of months until we can purchase “outside the octagon” short documentary clips on ufc.com for $4.99 per video. Or maybe a DVD box set for $29.99. As if they aren’t charging enough already to watch 5-6 fights on a pay-per-view for $49.99. Getting a little bit ridiculous.
This is too bad. I really liked the Vlogs and thought it was a cool way to see what goes on behind the scenes whether it was at Zuffa or in the locker rooms pre or post fight. Imagine if other sports did this? Would be pretty cool to see your favourite sports teams behind the scenes. Without the production and ****.
Too bad.
RIP Vlogs.
I thought White’s vlogs were a humanizing touch.
I’m sure some lawyer or other soulless money-loving suit-wearer convinced him to discontinue them, but IMO the promotion is past needing stuff like vlogs to connect with the fans…
that sucks – they really helped make the UFC human versus predatory – is White on his way out of the UFC?
Whether you like it or not, dana white IS the face of the ufc…why would he be on his way out?

The two Liddell losses are nothing worth firing the guy that has singlehandedly made MMA in North America over. That last clip about TUF used some creative editing and cut him off before he finished his statement.
your right, I watched the whole clip and it takes him out of context…
And I’m not lobbying for him to get fired. He’s a promoter and does a good job for the UFC in that role.
I just thought this video does a good job showing how he hypes things, sells fghters, and sets up matches to sell tickets and possibly overhype his fighters above the competition, rather than set up good fights and allow the best fighter to be proclaimed the best in each class.
Not for nothing, but maybe he just got sick of having that guy follow him around with a camera. I can see that being annoying.
This just might be the worst news ive heard all day. The Vlogs were awesome! They were funny and entertaining. That suckssss. I honestly dont think Dana is completely done making them yet though.
I think Dana got rid of them because he didn’t want everyone to see Tito kiss him on the lips. The final vlog was hilarious!
Dana dose not do anything without thinking about money! I am sure we will see them later!
My guess is that the UFC is going to “go public” and they can’t have their CEO with potentially offensive blogs so easily accessible to the general viewer.
