M-1 Global is paying guys to appear in “this sideshow crap”, so what can we honestly expect?
At some point if you keep stepping in sh!t, you’re going to come home with stink on your boots…doing business with M-1 Global is no different. I have a lot of respect for Mousasi, and I think he has a lot of potential, which is why the UFC expressed interest, only to have M-1 Global or some other aspect of the Strikeforce Alliance intervene and misrepresent the terms of the offer.

Plus for a lot of fighters, especially younger fighter or guys that come out of the PRIDE mindset, Fedor’s name still carries a lot of weight. I’m sure the idea of signing with a “promotion” that he’s nomininally a part owner of is an appealing proposition, until of course you find out that you’re rolling with him in some submissions101.com video shoot instead of actually facing someone in your weightclass in a legit MMA fight…

there are a few videos on youtube of fedor-mousasi rolling. mousasi got worked in them so i highly doubt this exhibition will be different. mousasi is talented, but he should be training for fights not doing this sideshow crap.

if fedor beats mousasi then there is no doubt he is the best fighter in the galaxy!!! how can he not be??? he beats everyone he faces. dont count the loss, because it wasnt a loss even though its on his record as a loss, its not a loss!

fedor continues to embarass himself, and its good to see that he turned down the UFC in order to “challenge himself” against “top competition”. no offense to mousasi or his fans, but come on… WTF!

No, we won’t. Since it is an exhibition match, there can be no penalty for paying Mousasi to let Fedor win. If Fedor loses, even in this, his mystique is gone.

The problem in my eyes isnt the matchup…. I love watching Mousasi fight and he is a LHW, although I still regard him as a true MW. Mousasi has plenty of skills no doubt. Its the fact that its another exhibition. I gave the Aoki crap a pass, but back to back exhibitions against smaller men is really starting to get annoying.
