Pictured: BJ Penn and Kenny Florian

i can’t wait GO KENFLO!!!!!! if kenflo won i would change my pics/avatar to kenflo landing a good punch on Bj unless he subbed him i would make it him submitting him.! go FORREST & KENFLO.
With you 110% GRIFFIN AND GRIFFIN! Recognize it yesterday oh yees of little faith!
Meant to say GRIFFIN and FLORIAN but I like that post too. Shows the effects of itouch typing mixed with Cap morgans private stock.
I share you’r sentiments nightmare.I will say that the bj pool jumping thing was quite immpressive though.
yeah the jump was cool….. i wouldnt even try jumping out of my own bathtub
I got 2 feet HA! and im 5″2″. anderson looked huge at the weigh-ins but never count out forrest.
Forrest is a real test for Anderson; last month I admit thinking Silva would just walk through Griffin in the first round. Not so sure now.
Nightmare, though we don’t agree on who we want to win the Griffin-Silva fight, we do agree about Kenny Florian. Florian said on the Countdown show that he would destroy the Kenny Florian that fought BJ Penn the first time. If he really wants that belt, I hope he was telling the truth.
Oh, and let’s hope Pellgrino thrashes Neer.
Kenny has not fought Penn before. I may be wrong.
Big ooops guys!! Meant Sherk…yeah Sherk. Might need to take a one week voluntary for that one!
ya i think he meant sherk because i mentioned that earlier
yesterday on jim rome is burning some guy jumped out of the pool like bj did, only he did it facing away fromt the edge of the pool. i believe there is a video on youtube. i am unaware of what the title is. i saw it and was like wtf.
kenny said he would destroy the kenny that fought stevenson frantz. just to clarify things.
yea it was a college football player. he was actually the first person to do it. Bj did it after him to show his strength and athleticism
are there any good free live streams out there?
go pellgrino born and raised in point pleasent NJ represent your state!!!!!!!!!!
KENFLO’s career in MMA will be ended tonight and Silva will continue his reign of the octagon…..
Well,i think the one thing we can all agree on is that anderson will definatly have to earn this win….if he wins.
HA! thales leites lost to sakara and he earned a title shot! so far I’m 3 of 5 of who won. out of those guys who won I’m 2 out of 3 on those 3 people.
the pole on who you think would win on the main and co main events are real close 51% for penn 49% for kenflo 50/50 for anderson and forrest. I’m suprised that kenflo’s percntage is high i thought alot of people would think penn would win.
wow griffin went really high in it now 54% and kenflo took the lead!
Was the first fight taped? Quick transition between fights…
GO POKES!!! maybe amir should cut!
DAM:N IT! amir lost
hopfully he can make LW
Damn, I was rootin’ for Amir!
BJ and Forrest. Seen the weigh in pics and anderson wasnt even lookin forrest in the eyes.
doesn’t look like eye contact means much…
WOW…I can honestly say I’ve never seen anything like that…”The Spider” is my hero,
GO KENNY!
YES! BJ WINS! RNC! BJ must of wanted his belt more than Kenny!
Man Amir only got to fight for 32 seconds. He has been wanting to fight and it is like he never even fought since it ended so quick.
Wohooooooooo! Yeah baby! I was really hoping bj would pull it out. His legacy lives on! That sucks forrest had to go out like that though.
BJ PENN FTW!!!
David, I hear you. I feel bad for Forrest but hey, that’s the game. He’ll come back, he’s a tough dude. But BJ is for sure the best LHW champ! Idk who is going to strip that title away.
LHW is he re-matching machida??? I know what you meant… just messing with ya
Man i love the sport of MMA, and I hope Forrest didnt take a fall for that fight, idk maybe that punch hurt more than it looked or he was already kinda rocked from those other shots….
I think he had a jaw popped out or felt the orbital bone go. that would explain the run out. Get immediate attention.
It occurs to me also that something might have happened structurally to his eye, such as a detached retina. It’s the sort of thing that literally needs to be taken care of as soon as symptoms are noticed.
I have to admit that I’m both shocked and a little bit embarrassed for some of my fellow MMA enthusiasts when they post sh!t like, “Forrest took a dive”, or “Forrest pussed out”, or stuff of that nature.
Griffin is a real-live MMA success story, and doesn’t deserve comments like that directed towards him.
I mention it only because IMO it was SO obvious that something more than just getting knocked on his a$$ was going on…
i agree with you guys it seemed like Forrest had to have some sort of injury to just run out like that…the thing that is extremely odd to me at this point is how Dana White in the press conference afterwards said he had no idea where Forrest was and could be in Georgia for all he knows or whatever…seems very odd to me I would think Dana would have spoken to him or one of Forrest’s people and would have had an idea what was going on with him
HATE TO SAY I TOLD YOU SO!!
Man Anderson is one bad dude. I like forest but he is so inconsistent, it has to be a mental thing. Defending the belt, fighting the best MMA fighter…when there is no pressure he is great but when the chips are down he just can’t get it together.
Forests book is great by the way. Funny and very interesting.
As for BJ…he looked awesome and Kenny just couldn’t get it done. I wonder what Florian does next? He has the skills but no ones is going to beat a determined BJ. The master lives another day
In defense of Forrest, I think you aren’t giving Anderson enough credit. He was straight vicious tonight!
Just making the rounds posting this in a lot of places, because on multiple threads I opined that Forrest Griffin would beat Anderson Silva by ref stoppage sometime in the third round, and as you all saw I was “somewhat” mistaken.

Gratz to Silva as it was a hella fierce showing…
Well the night started off slow but picked up for sure. I hope Forrest is doin ok, feel super bad for the guy. But then again hes rich and famous so maybe I dont feel too bad for him.
Not to mention he’s a New York Times bestselling author…
Not to mention he’s got the best chest hair in the business.
Anderson Silva has already showed us unquestionably that he can beat any fighter on the planet. Tonight he showed that he can flat out embarrass any fighter out there as well. Period. That was truly extraordinary.
What I found so remarkable about BJ’s performance was, despite Goldy and Rogan’s constant attention to Kenny “wearing down BJ” through the first 3 rounds, was BJ’s explosiveness in the 4th. I don’t exactly know if BJ was conserving energy, or if he drew a second wind, but he was anything but gassed in the 4th.
And then what was so impressive was how technical he was in his setup of the choke. He tapped in with a few heel kicks to the soft belly immidiately. Not a big deal but eventually it was going to force Kenny to drop his hands ever so quickly and them BAM, the choke is locked in. I had to rewind it a few times just to fully appreciate the bait. It was like a fisherman tossing out a few jigs and as soon as the hands dropped, the hook was immidiately set and then game over. Highly impressive.
Feel bad for Florian…lost to Sherk, now he lost to BJ. But BJ is clearly the superior fighter.
I honestly thought Forrest would be a bigger test for Anderson. I was pleasantly surprised.
Amir was a big disappointment.
sh1t! this went really bad for me forrest and kenflo lost amir lost too! i think anderson silva is the best P4P fighter in the world again because he just knocked out ofrrest with ease.
