Brock Larson vs. Mike Pierce Added to UFC Fight Night 19
A welterweight bout between former WEC fighters Brock Larson and Mike Pierce is in the works for UFC Fight Night 19, according to MMA Weekly.
Larson (26-2), whose only career losses have come to notables Jon Fitch and Carlos Condit, has won five-straight, including back-to-back UFC victories over Jesse Sanders and Mike Pyle in 2009.
Pierce (9-1), also a winner of five-straight, won his lone WEC bout over Justin Haskins via third-round TKO in March then defeated TUF 7 cast member Paul Bradley by unanimous decision in his most-recent fight in April.
UFC Fight Night 19, which takes place on September 16 in Oklahoma City, is co-headlined by Nate Diaz vs. Melvin Guillard and Gray Maynard vs. Roger Huerta.

I love guys like this. Brock Larson is willing to fight anyone anytime it seems. None of this, what will it do for me? I love it. Great guy, good fighter, I really want to see him do well.
Ironically, that is the same attitude displayed by one of this site’s LEAST favorite fighters, Kos.
