New MMAFrenzy.com Feature: Event Notifications

Posted by Kris Karkoski on Aug 13, 2007 at 2:32 pm ET2 Comments

As part of our ongoing process to add new features and expand our UFC and MMA offerings we are proud to announce a new feature, event notifications.

Event notifications are a quick and easy way of being updated the instant the fight card changes for any upcoming UFC event. The updates will also notify you should the venue, date, time, broadcast, or any other details of an event change. The notifications are delivered to your email address with a link to the event which has changed.

To subscribe to notifications for an event simply visit the events rumor page, enter your email address in the form below the rumors, and click subscribe. Here is a list of direct links to the event rumor pages:

At this time you must subscribe individually to each event you want to monitor. In the future we plan on offering a way to subscribe to all of the rumors pages at once so you can receive notifications of new events and changes to any and all UFC cards without having to subscribe to each individually.

New features and several giveaways will be announced in the coming weeks and months so stay tuned to MMAFrenzy.com for more exciting announcements very soon. In the mean time you can support the site by opening a Bodog account (you receive a free UFC DVD for doing so) or simply leaving your comments and opinions on our UFC stories.

Enjoy!

Cann – I couldn't agree more. RSS feeds are very nice as long as you know how to use them. The problem is a lot of readers don't know how or choose not to. The Sherdog RSS feed lists events but does not email changes to cards, etc. which is why I made this. I wanted to offer fans who will be attending an event or who were simply interested in a particular event to receive emails whenever anything changes with regard to the event.
