Future Releases of “UFC Undisputed” Heading to Wii
THQ’s popular video game franchise “UFC Undisputed”, which debuted earlier this year for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, will expand to additional consoles with future installments, including the Nintendo Wii and handheld Nintendo DS platforms.
Prior to the the release of UFC Undisputed 2009, THQ had been struggling and was rumored to be on the brink of collapse. With the May release of the game, and subsequent two million copies sold, THQ was able to turn their fortunes around and post profits for the first time in several months. The UFC and THQ have since signed a multi-year contract that will produce updated versions of the franchise each year, with the 2010 edition already having been announced.
THQ’s rival EA Games will release it’s competing franchise “EA Sports MMA” at some point in 2010, which may put a damper on sales of the UFC Undisputed franchise. However it will also provide competition in the MMA game market, and will undoubtedly lead to a better product for the consumer.

honestly, i like playing with evryone because the game is so detailed and everyone has their own style
Yeah, I’ve played the real game with a few of my friends and my brother. I think I’m going to buy it tonight, it will give me something to do while doing impressions of FR’s avitar

i wish i had live i like playing with matt hughes cause he’s my favorite fighter in real life and he has this amazing special slam. when he gets sprawled on he can pick them up and run with them and slam to the side and up up in side control.

I’m also undefeated, like the UNC-W football team (non-existent)… The bad part is I’ve never won either.

Same as UNC-C football team, Justin. But, we are getting a team in 2013…maybe we could upset Michigan in our season opener like App State
i think ufc undisputed would suck on little handheld consoles. they better add new things you can do new fighter obviously. can’t wait
Work your boxing and/or Jujitsu game with real motions of your hands, in real time against an opponent attempting to do the same? Sorry I left out all other aspects of MMA there but much like Forrest (My Fav) I tend to focus on these two when training. This will be awesome. A step up from mashing buttons and rotating thumb sticks. Yay!
Wow, the only thing tha could be better then ufc on the wii would be is i had it on my cool Net10 phone this summer. I am seriously stoked for this game to come out.
I love UFC I live for it! I can’t wait for it to come out on the WII. By the way GSP would man handle all your favorite fighters!
