Dan Lauzon Re-Joins UFC, Will Fight Newcomer Rafaello Oliveira at UFC 103
Lightweight Dan Lauzon, the younger brother of fellow 155-pounder Joe Lauzon and the youngest fighter to ever appear in the UFC, will return to the Octagon on September 19 in Dallas at UFC 103, where he’ll meet newcomer Rafaello Oliveria.
Five Knuckles first reported the preliminary card matchup on Thursday, citing a source close to the event.
Both Lauzon and Oliveira were scheduled to compete on August 1 at the recently-canceled Affliction: Trilogy event, with Lauzon booked to fight Chris Horodecki while Oliveira was to meet Takanori Gomi.
Lauzon (12-2) made his UFC debut against Spencer Fisher in late-2006 at the age of 18 years 7 months and 14 days, losing via first-round TKO. After suffering another defeat to Deividas Taurosevicius in his next bout, “The Upgrade” has won 8-straight, including a first-round submission of Bobby Green in his Affliction debut in January.
Oliveira (8-1), a training partner of current UFC lightweight champ BJ Penn, has won three-straight, including a unanimous decision win in his most-recent bout in April, after suffering his only career loss to Lyle Beerbohm at an October ShoXC event.
The fight is expected to be among the announcements made by UFC President Dana White at a Friday press conference.

Affliction imploding is like Christmas…
This is how the premiere MMA organization on the planet will stay the premiere MMA organization on the planet…
You know, with all this talk about Fedor I completely forgot about Horodecki. I would like to see him in the UFC (I don’t think he will do much though).
Also, Lauzon vs Lauzon would be cool. It would be a huge draw with the whole brotherly rivalry thing.
can’t wait wonder who’s better him or his brother that be a cool fight
I kinda doubt the brothers would fight each other, and I hope that the UFC never tries to make them.
I was just joking around Justin, it would be interesting but they would have to go to Japan for it to take place.
J-lau would take him
Spencer Fisher would be a horrible matchup for any 18 year old kid. i really havent followed dan, but that would be a better matchup for Joe
