Paul Daley Signs Four-Fight UFC Deal, Likely To Debut at UFC 105 (Updated)
British welterweight Paul Daley has signed a four-fight deal with the UFC, according to Fighters Only, with his Octagon debut yet to be determined, though UFC 105 on November 14 in Manchested, England is likely.
Daley had been scheduled to fight Jay Hieron on the HDNet card of the recently-canceled August 1 Affliction: Trilogy event.
“Semtex,” a veteran of Cage Rage, Strikeforce, EliteXC, and MFC, has won 9 of his past 11 fights, including recent back-to-back victories. His only losses since 2006 were defeats to notables Jake Shields and Nick Thompson, while he also picked up notable wins over the likes of Duane Ludwig, Sam Morgan, and John Alessio.

MMAWeekly has reported that Daley has not in fact signed with the UFC, though they have given him an attractive offer. Apparently other promotions are seeking his services and he is still in the process of weighing those options.

This is awesome news! Daley is a great fighter, some may know him, many wont.
Can’t wait!
Yeah very exciting to watch
Daley to the UFC.
Maybe this is what they mean by the old phrase, “how the rich get richer…”
This is a great addition to the WW division. He looked really good at the MFC events that I’ve watched on HDNet.
Nice to see this addition, now if he’d become more consistent and stable than his alias he’d be a real threat to anyone.
Would love to see the first and probably only round between him and Thiago Alves.
