Recent Injuries Set Roop vs. Sotiropoulos for UFC 101, Emerson vs. dos Anjos at UFC 103
Recent injuries suffered by Matt Wiman and Rob Emerson have forced changes to the UFC’s upcoming UFC 101 and UFC 103 lineups.
A cut that required stitches forced Emerson out of his scheduled UFC 101 preliminary card fight against George Sotiropoulos, with George Roop tapped to replace Emerson and fight Sotiropoulos at the August 8 event in Philadelphia.
Wiman has withdrawn from his UFC 103 fight against Rafael dos Anjos after suffering a knee injury, with Emerson booked to replace Wiman and take on dos Anjos on September 19 in Dallas.
Both injuries and replacements were reported by MMAjunkie on Thursday.

I think Dos Anjos just got an easier fight.
Sotiropoulos and dos Anjos both got easier fights.
Hopefully roop doesnt visit the Frenzy to often. Guys got heart though.

Yeah, taking fights on short notice seems to be something the UFC likes in people, and if he comes in and picks up the win, he may well find himself on a few more under cards in the future.
