If high got knocked out, how did he win the GP?

  • EtherBunny says:

Damn…if only Time Warner still carried HDNet I would be able to watch it. I heard that they were still in negotiations, whatever that means.

  • Gunslinger says:

I didnt even expect this i had sakurai winning the title but zaromskis tottally surprised me….but who needs HDnet i saw this on justin.tv and it was pretty insane

  • Eldiablo says:

Go HDNET!!!!! Thoese were some sweet fights!!!!

  • jcohl says:

As I was watching this it wasn’t really registering what I was seeing, in terms of Zaromskis’ march to the title.
Really good slate of fights, totally live wire crowd, as usual, and the fight between High and Galvao even had the announcers scrambling to cover all the back and forth action.
It’s a shame that HDNet doesn’t have more market penetration and higher ratings within those households where it is available. My cable system doesn’t offer HDNet, so I was obligated to watch the event on an unnamed MMA website ;)

I posted this elsewhere, but it was so funny I thouht it worth re-posting here, in that the funniest announcer line of the night, which dropped during the Galvao-High bout, was, “High has been mounted more times that [pornstar] Jenna Haze”…
    :)

And was it just me or did anyone else expect maybe more from the Filho-Manhoef fight?
Nonetheless, good stuff, for sure, and gratz to the new WW champ.
