great vids, thanks for the upload kris.
Good stuff.
Not that I think it could happen, but the UFC is in an awesome position to do a lot to help submission grappling expand its appeal and fanbase here in the US.
The question is, will they?
The answer : if Dana White can find a way to make a dollar out of it, then we’ll be seeing more of these Grapplers Quest superfights at FanFests.
The truth is that with so many UFC fighters coming from wrestling and grappling, it’s in the promotion’s [and the sport's] best interests to keep an eye out for potential submission wrestlers with the interest and talent to transition into MMA.
Thanks for posting this, btw.
good videos thanks!!!!just saw on yahoo.com when checkin my mail that the range rover dana gave dan henderson broke down driving from 100 to temecula california. i guess dan killed two britts that weekend.
If Moon Wolf didn’t impress you, well you need to watch more grappling imo, great thought process just simply awesome….
Joe well that was Bill Cooper showing you his ground game, that was a rather good fight, and Bill is impressive
Glover and Reis was a really fun and technical bout…
good stuff all and all nice thread
what was that sub in the Sato match? it didnt look tight enough to be a triangle from the top nor precise enough to be an armbar.. probably armbar but it almost looked like a crank..
the general thought about ground grappling/bjj is that its boring[not me or my fellow mma maniacs on here]. many do not appreciate the skill, and technique and disicpline it takes to be good at it. i agree j that if dana sees a way to capitalize and make money he will do it. maybe he could partner with Abu Dhabi, and other organizations as well. i am all for it.
Daddy vs The Grill. Wow. It’s like Bad Nickname Deathmatch!!!!
wasnt vinny magalahagawateva involved in this?
Sweet post!
When it comes down to fighting techniques, grappling and other ground techniques rule. I feel it’s they are the most intelligently (if that’s the word) demanding styles.
