Andrei Arlovski needed less than a round to put away Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva at UFC Fight Night 51 on Saturday, but it looks like the heavyweight may have injured his wrist during the brief scrap (which included a vicious storm of fight stopping hammer fists).

According to a report from MMA Fighting.com, the Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission has released the medical suspensions from the card, and Arlovski could be sidelined for up to several months.

The report says that Arlovski has been suspended for 180 days, pending an X-ray on his wrist and medical clearance. So, in other words, if the 35 year-old gets the green light from a doctor, he’ll be able to fight much sooner.

Arlovski, who has gone 2-0 now since returning to the UFC, also earned a “Performance of the Night” bonus for the win.

Silva, on the other hand, has been suspended for 60 days and can’t spar for 45, after being KO’d.

Other fighters would could be facing 180 day medical suspensions included Piotr Hallmann and Efrain Escudero.
