UFN 19 Announced for September 16; Tickets on Sale July 9
The UFC has officially announced UFC Fight Night 19, a long-rumored Spike-televised event which will take place on September 16 at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City.
Roger Huerta’s contract-fulfilling bout against fellow-lightweight Gray Maynard is currently the only rumored fight for the card.
The debut episode of The Ultimate Fighter 10: Heavyweights, featuring Kimbo Slice, will premiere immediately following UFN 19.
UFC Fight Club members can purchase tickets beginning at 10am CT on Thursday, July 9, UFC Newsletter subscribers can buy tickets on Friday, July 10 at 10am CT, while the general public must wait until Saturday, July 11 before being able to purchase tickets.
Largely for logistics reasons, the UFC will then hold UFC 103 just three days later at the nearby American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

i think huerta will be to much for gray in this one, it will be a good close fight, but huerta should pull this one out. i am not rooting for him, but thinking unbiased this is how i see it playing out.
You don’t think Huerta’s lengthy lay-off will hurt him against a fighter at Maynard’s level?
Personally I think Huerta has been busy for so long “Bo Jackson-ing” his way thru other hobbies and pursuits, he’ll have a tough time against a hungry, committed fighter like Maynard. Now if Huerta had been focused and staying busy, I’d like his chances, but considering the fact that they are mentally in different places right now in terms of career and contract status, I’d probably give a slight edge to Maynard.
What if Roger wins? Didn’t I read somewhere that he isn’t really interested in continuing and whats to pursue an acting career? If he actually beats Maynard that puts him pretty hi in the ranks I’d imagine.
I say Maynard wins out of pure spite that if your hearts not 100% in the game you shouldn’t be there.
You did read that somewhere. There’s no telling what will happen if he wins, or even if he loses, he may have a change of heart, who knows.
Hey, if anyone wants to give their old buddy dbiz a nice birthday present, a couple plane tickets and tickets to this would make a fantastic gift. I’m just saying.
keep making hilarious a$$ comments and il consider it.
I never even considered springing for a b-day gift for a stranger before, but after reading someone who makes my mocking of the Diaz brothers look feeble in comparison, maybe I should start seriously priceline’ing some plane tickets for dbiz…
