UFC 178 Adds Donald Cerrone Vs. Bobby Green & James Krause Vs. Jorge Masvidal

The UFC announced that Donald Cerrone vs. Bobby Green and James Krause vs. Jorge Masvidal have been added to the September show (UFC 178)

Donald Cerrone (23-6-1) has three wins by knockout, 15 wins by submission and five by decision in his MMA career. In his last four fights he is 3-1, he lost to Rafael dos Anjos via unanimous decision back in August of 2013. Since then he has been on a three fight winning streak with wins over Evan Dunham via Triangle Choke back in November, then a 1st RD knockout win over Adriano Martins in January of this year. Finally, in his last fight he beat Edson Barboza via rear naked choke last month at UFC on Fox 11. He is coming off a win over Jim Miller at UFC Fight Night 45.

Bobby Green (23-5) has won his last seven fights, he made his UFC debut against Jacob Volkmann which he beat via submission. He beat Pat Healy at UFC on Fox 9 – Johnson vs. Benavidez 2 on Dec / 14 / 2013 via decision. He is coming off a win over Josh Thomson At UFC On Fox 12.

The main event will be between flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson vs. Chris Cariaso. UFC 178 will happen on September 27 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

James Krause (20-5) He has 5 knockouts,13 submissions and 2 decision victories while he has been knocked out once, submitted twice and lost by decision twice. In his last four fights he is 3-1. Prior to joining the UFC he was on a seven fight winning streak. He beat Joe Jordan via Guillotine Choke at RFA 5 – Downing vs. Rinaldi on Nov / 30 / 2012, then beat Toby Imada via unanimous decision at RFA 6 – Krause vs. Imada 2 on Jan / 18 / 2013. He made his UFC debut against Sam Stout which he won against Sam Stout via Guillotine Choke at UFC 161 – Evans vs. Henderson on Jun / 15 / 2013. However in his last fight he lost to Bobby Green via TKO at UFC Fight Night – Fight for the Troops 3 on Nov / 06 / 2013.

Jorge Masvidal (27-8) has 10 knockouts, 2 submission and 15 decision victories while he has been knocked out eight times, submitted twice and lost by decision five times. Prior to joining the UFC he was 3-1 in his last four. He made his UFC debut against Tim Means via unanimous decision at UFC on Fox 7 – Henderson vs. Melendez on Apr / 20 / 2013 and then beat Michael Chiesa, via submission at UFC on Fox 8 – Johnson vs. Moraga on Jul / 27 / 2013. He lost to Rustam Khabilov via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night – Fight for the Troops 3 on Nov / 06 / 2013, but beat in his next fight Pat Healy via unanimous decision at UFC on Fox 11 – Werdum vs. Browne on Apr / 19 / 2014. He is coming off a win over Daron Cruickshank at UFC on Fox 12.
