“Mayhem” vs. “Jacare” 3 Likely For September at DREAM 11
It seems that Jason “Mayhem” Miller will square off against Ronald “Jacare” Souza yet again for the DREAM middleweight belt. Their latest matchup is rumored to take place at DREAM 11 in September, according to a post on Miller’s Twitter page.
At DREAM 9 on May 26 Miller fought Souza for the vacant DREAM middleweight title. However, that bout ended prematurely and was declared a no contest after Miller delivered an accidental kick to the downed Souza, causing a fight ending cut. As a result, no champion was crowned that night.
In their first meeting Souza defeated Miller via unanimous decision in the quarterfinals of the DREAM middleweight Grand Prix at DREAM 4. Souza then went on to win his semi final match up over Zelg Galesic before getting knocked out by Gegard Mousasi in the finals.
Though it is still unclear if the fight has officially been signed or is still in negotiations, Miller says that he “Can’t wait!” for the fight. When it becomes known that the fight is signed, MMAFenzy will pass that along to you.

the first fight went to Jacare, second fight ended in a NC, and well the third will go to Mayhem, these two are not done facing one another, the anger between the two does remind me of the first two Rampage v Wanderlei contests
Question to the collective:
does anyone out there think that either Miller or Jacare could make an impact in the UFC, once contractually able, or are they better off steering clear of the big show and working Japan and other promotions?
Im a fan of both… Mayhem has fought in the UFC before and well, I think he could have an effect on the Org now that he has refocused his career, but lets be honest he is fighting for the DREAM MW (vacated by Gergard Mousasi) Title, he would be hard pressed to get a title shot in the UFC for some time to come imo…
Jacare is an absolute beast, and I would love to see a MMA match between himself and Maia (checkout their jiu jitsu matches on tube of the you), and I really believe that he could be an instant force in the MW division yet he would never fight the MW king, but I wouldn’t mind seeing him in the UFC as their “next big signing”
