Dennis Siver – Robert Whiteford Will Fight At UFC Fight Night 53

The UFC announced that Featherweight Dennis Siver and Robert Whiteford at UFC Fight Night 53 in Stockholm. Siver is coming off a nine-month suspension that he was given by the Nevada State Athletic Commission following his win over Manny Gamburyan at UFC 168.

Dennis Siver (21-9 MMA, 10-6 UFC) Has five knockouts, nine submissions and seven decision victories. In his last four, he is 2-1-1.

He beat Diego Nunes via unanimous decision at UFC on Fuel TV 2 – Gustafsson vs. Silvaon Apr / 14 / 2012 and then Nam Phan via unanimous decision at UFC on Fox 5 – Henderson vs. Diaz on Dec / 08 / 2012. However, he lost to Cub Swanson via TKO at UFC 162 – Silva vs. Weidman on Jul / 06 / 2013.

In his last fight, he was suspended and ultimately his fight with Manny Gamburyan was over turned at UFC 168.

Robert Whiteford (11-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC) has five knockouts, one submission and five wins by decision. Prior to joining the UFC, he was on a ten fight winning streak. In his UFC debut, he lost to Jim Hettes via submission at UFC Fight Night – Machida vs. Munoz on Oct / 26 / 2013 He beat Daniel Pineda via unanimous decision at UFC 171 – Hendricks vs. Lawler on Mar / 15 / 2014 in his next fight.

The event takes place at Oct. 4 at Ericsson Globe in the Swedish capital. The event is expected to stream on UFC Fight Pass.
