Audio: Diego Sanchez On UFC Mexico, Norman Parke, Nick Diaz incident & Conor Mcgregor

Andrew Ravens

Diego Sanchez

The original Ultimate Fighter and fan favourite, Diego Sanchez stops by Submission Radio to talk about everything from Norman Parke’s Callout, wanting to fight Nate Diaz, Conor McGregor and his hype, fighting on UFC’s Mexico card, his old wrestling heavy style as opposed to his more brawling style, training with Heavyweights at Jackson/Winkeljohn’s, and of course his big trip to Australia to do some seminars and teach Aussie’s the ‘Yes!’ chant.

“The Nightmare” also talks about his controversial fight against Ross Pearson, Beef Tartar, and how the Yes chant started. One of the most classy, yet candid guests on Submission Radio, Diego even tells a crazy story about his classic feud with Nick Diaz, which includes Nick throwing a shoe at Diego during the open workouts.

Site Reminder: We will not have MMA coverage until UFC Fight Night 47 takes place Aug. 16 at Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine. The event will air on Fight Pass and Fox Sports 1. Tickets for the event currently are on sale.
