"First few minutes against Fedor" wow.. common guys AA sucks balls and it is wishful thinking of UFC fanboys that AA had Fedor in trouble. Let's let AA die off now plz the guy is so bad. AA fights are 90% of the time a letdown.. they always have been. FOREVER.

In regards to the Arlovski/Rogers fight, this might also be a case of a well-established fighter, in this instance Arlovski, not evolving with this ever-changing sport. As much respect as I have for Chuck Liddell, he never seemed to be able to evolve past his Pit/Hackleman training, and it cost him several fights IMO, along with age and wear and tear.
I'm not 100% certain as to the particulars of AA's training regimen, but as far as I can tell AA is basically the same fighter he was 4 years ago. In MMA 4 years is almost a lifetime. Perhaps AA needs to expand his skillset in order to continue earning a living at HW. Possibly use his quality stand-up to set up some shoot-style takedowns and submissions, or something else that can cover the glaring weakness of his suspect chin...

it almost looks like it was stopped prematurely from the first angle. on the replay you can clearly see that he melted, but started recovering before hitting the ground. does anyone think that he could have grabbed onto something and get a full recovery? i think that he probably would have taken some unnesessary damage before getting stopped had mcarthy let it go on. i felt so bad for AA but i think that hes past his time and falls into the same category as alot of the other fighters that we all once loved

I said slightly better than mediocre. I agree that he is better than Herring or Hardonk, but I think that Arlovski is not a top tier fighter. He may have been at one point in his career, but he is not now. Not to mention, a 15-7 record isn't exactly stellar, he's lost almost half as many as he's won. The biggest thing is that he has shown a bit of a glass jaw recently, and usually when fighters get brutally KOed it only makes their jaw weaker, he has just done so twice. He also struggled against Roy Nelson (though he did get the win), before these last two losses.

As much as i truly respect your comments justin i have to dissagree with arlovski being a mediocre fighter. A mediorce fighter to me is someone like herring or hardonk. I just think he's realy hot and cold. With what he did to rothwell, some of the boys in the UFC and that first few minustes against fedor should prove his skills, but i guess if you balance it out with his poor showings i can see your point. Anyways I just feel that when hes on his game AA is one of the best HW in the world.

It took till the third round for Diaz to pick up the win, but Smith offered next to nothing in terms of offense. I get what you're saying, and I can't stand Diaz (as you should know), but he outclassed Scott Smith. I do, however, feel that outclassing Scott Smith doesn't exactly mean a whole lot.

Diaz move to middleweight? No chance. He made EXC create a weight class for him (sub-welterweight) and he still couldn't take the belt from Pretty Boy Noons.

He's been fighting has-beens and nobodies on his 5 fight win streak before Shields. Everyone here said Milletich was fighting a nobody in Thomas Denny...the same one that Diaz fought in that streak.

He hasn't showed me anything except that he's a lisping punk who can beat sub-par challengers.
