Nico Musoke Vs. Amir Sadollah Added To UFC Fight Night 53

The UFC has made the first fight for UFC Fight Night 53, Welterweights Nico Musoke (12-3 MMA, 2-1 UFC) and Amir Sadollah (6-4 MMA, 6-4 UFC)

Nico Musoke (12-3) Has four knockouts, five submissions and three wins by decision. Prior to joining the UFC, Musoke was 4-1 in his last five fights. He made his UFC debut against Alessio Sakara, which he won by armbar at UFC Fight Night – Machida vs. Munoz on Oct / 26 / 2013. He then would go on to beat Viscardi Andrade via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night – Machida vs. Mousasi on Feb / 15 / 2014. However, in his next fight he lost to Kelvin Gastelum via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night – Swanson vs. Stephens on Jun / 28 / 2014.

Amir Sadollah (6-4) Has zero knockouts, two submissions and four wins by decision. He has been with the UFC since 2008 when he beat C.B. Dollaway at The Ultimate Fighter 7 Finale on Jun / 21 / 2008. In his previous five fights he is 3-2. He beat Peter Sobotta via unanimous decision at UFC 122 – Marquardt vs. Okami on Nov / 13 / 2010 and then DaMarques Johnson via submission at Fight Night 24 on Mar / 26 / 2011. However, he lost to Duane Ludwig via unanimous decision at UFC Live 5 – Hardy vs. Lytle on Aug / 14 / 2011, but then beat Jorge Lopez via split decision at UFC on Fuel TV 3 – Korean Zombie vs. Poirier on May / 15 / 2012. In his next fight, he beat Dan Hardy via unanimous decision at UFC on Fuel TV 5 – Struve vs. Miocic on Sep / 29 / 2012.

It’s unclear if it will be the main event or not. The event takes place at Oct. 4 at Ericsson Globe in the Swedish capital. The event is expected to stream on UFC Fight Pass.
