The UFC returns to Brazil for UFC Fight Night 51 and they have just received three more bouts.
Lightweight Bout: Lukasz Sajewski (13-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) vs. Leonardo Santos (12-3-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC
Welterweights Bout: Sergio Moraes (8-2 MMA, 2-1 UFC) vs. Santiago Ponzinibbio (18-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC)
Welterweights Bout: Igor Araujo (25-6 MMA, 2-0 UFC) vs. George Sullivan (15-3 MMA, 1-0 UFC).
Lukasz Sajewski (13-0) Has two knockouts, seven submissions and four wins by decision. This will be his UFC debut fight. In his last four fights, he has won three of those by armbar.
Leonardo Santos (12-3) Has one knockout, eight submission and two wins by decision. Prior to joining the UFC he was on a five fight winning streak. He made his UFC debut against William Macario and won via submission at UFC on Fuel TV 10 – Nogueira vs. Werdum on Jun / 08 / 2013. In his next fight, it went to a draw against Norman Parke at UFC Fight Night – Shogun vs. Henderson 2 on Mar / 23 / 2014.
Sergio Moraes (8-2) Has seven submissions and one decision victory in his MMA career. Prior to joining the UFC, he was 3-1 in his four prior fights. He made his UFC debut against Cezar Ferreira, but lost via unanimous decision at UFC 147 – Silva vs. Franklin 2 on Jun / 23 / 2012. He would go on to win his next two fights, a win over Renee Forte via submission at UFC 153 – Silva vs. Bonnar on Oct / 13 / 2012 and then over Neil Magny via submission at UFC 163 – Aldo vs. Korean Zombie on Aug / 03 / 2013.
Santiago Ponzinibbio (18-2) Has ten knockouts, six submissions and two wins by decision in his MMA career. Prior to joinning the UFC, he was on a seven fight winning streak. He made his UFC debut against Ryan LaFlare, but lost via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night – Belfort vs. Henderson on Nov / 09 / 2013.
George Sullivan (15-3) Has ten knockouts and five wins by decision. He was on a six fight winning streak prior to joining the UFC. He made his UFC debut against Mike Rhodes, which he won via unanimous decision at UFC on Fox 10 – Henderson vs. Thomson on Jan / 25 / 2014.
Igor Araujo (25-6) Has one knockout, seventeen submission and seven wins by decision. Prior to joining the UFC, he was on a four fight winning streak. He made his UFC debut against Ildemar Alcantara, which he won by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night – Maia vs. Shields on Oct / 09 / 2013. He then beat Danny Mitchell by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night – Gustafsson vs. Manuwa on Mar / 08 / 2014.
UFC Fight Night 51 goes down Sept. 13 at Nilson Nelson Gymnasium in Brasilia, Brazil. The event will air on UFC Fight Pass. The main event will be Andrei Arlovski vs. Antonio Silva.
