Perhaps Evans will bring in Greg Jackson as an assistant coach though, so basically it will be Greg Jackson vs. Rampage and Tiki as coaches for the season.

Rampage talks a lot of stuff and jokes around alot, but he doesn’t resort to stuff like that, i’m sure he won’t get on Rashad for getting ko’d.

Okay, i didn’t realize the show won’t air until after the Machida and Rampage square off. That makes a little more sense since Regardless of the Machida-Rampage outcome, it would set up Rampage-Evans. My bad.

Still though, I would rather see better coaching.

I’m very confused here. In the past, the UFC pretty much sacrificed decent coaching in order to set up a future fight (between the coaches). I can understand that part. We’ll go ahead and bring on fighters that even though they make useless coaches, it’s okay because we are setting the stage for them to fight eachother when the show is over. While I didn’t like that they did that, I could at least understand why they did it.

But now, they are still putting forth poor coaches, except this time it’s not to upstage any sort of fight when the show is over, or even a fight at all (This is assuming Rampage and Evans will be the coaches, but Rampage will fight Machida next). It went from an original scheme that I disliked but tolerated to a new scheme that I flat-out despise.

However I do not think every coach was worthless. I think Matt Serra (while I’m not a fan of his) was a phenomenal coach, among maybe a select few others.

I actuall think they will have rashad as the coach cause the fight between rampage and machida will allready have happened. so i see lyoto being out. Now if Rampage wins then you could have Rashad fight him for the belt but if he loses then they could still fight and it would be a big draw. Its a win win if these guys coach then fight.

I agree fr702, but man, it seems like when he speaks english, he SPEAKS IT LOUDLY! haha. I just want to see them fight, let someone else coach, they don’t have to be rivals, UFC is playing it out.
