With the main event of UFC 176 being Jose Aldo Vs. Chad Mendes off, the UFC could not find a replacement to headline the night of fights and had to cancel the event all together. Promotion officials announced the news Tuesday night at UFC.com.

The event was set for Aug. 2 at Staples Center and was supposed to feature a featherweight title headliner between champion Jose Aldo and challenger Chad Mendes. Aldo had to pull out last week.

The UFC said the fights scheduled for UFC 176 will be shifted to other upcoming cards.

Here is how the rest of the card would have looked like:

    Gegard Mousasi vs. Ronaldo Souza
    Fabricio Camoes vs. Gray Maynard
    Shayna Baszler vs. Bethe Correia
    Jussier Formiga vs. Zach Makovsky
    Walmir Lazaro vs. James Vick
    Derek Brunson vs. Lorenz Larkin
    Bobby Green vs. Abel Trujillo
    Danny Castillo vs. Tony Ferguson
    Beneil Dariush vs. Tony Martin
    Matt Dwyer vs. Alex Garcia
