It's hard as hell to hit standing in MMA because if a guy takes a shot w/ good timing you're in a bad position. Also if you land it wrong you can break your heal and that blows. I remember Wandi used them a lot when he was standing and his opponent was grounded in Pride. That said I've only seen maybe two intentional ones where both were standing and one was Torres and then there was one in TUF I remember when it was the Hughes-Serra year. I cannot remember the fighter though, probably due to all the years of Muay Thai haha. I maintain Torres may have some of the most genuine Muay Thai in MMA, it really is wicked. Bowles is undefeated, but I still don't see him winning, Torre's is locked in and the guys always comes in ready and in crazy shape, he has an all around game and is too much for any guy at this moment.
