The scheduled fight between Matt Mitrione and Stefan Struve has been called off. Struve passed out during warm ups in his locker room and UFC President Dana White told media that the fight was not going to happen. “He was hyperventilating. They think it was a panic attack, but we’re not going to risk it,” White said.
Struve has had a past with heart conditions and had to take a year off due to them.
One of the doctors that handle the situation came on the air and gave an update. It was brief, but Struve is stable and is OK right now.
This is a developing story, so stay tuned!
