UFC 98 Draws 12,606 Spectators for $3.4 Million Live Gate

UFC 98 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas drew 12,606 spectators to witness Lyoto Machida’s main event knockout of title-holder Rashad Evans.
UFC President Dana White confirmed the attendance at the post-UFC 98 press conference and also announced that the crowd generated a live gate of $3.4 million.

That is an excellent live gate number.. And a fair amount of people that attended nice to see that UFC 98 brought out a lot of people..

Seeing as how the card was not as star studded as others, it goes to show how well the sport of MMA has grown.
