After winning against Mike Rhodes at UFC Fight Night 43, Robert Whittaker wants to return to the octagon soon and even as soon as UFC’s rumored Australia show later this year:
“I’d like to fight at home. I don’t think I could say no if there was a fight at home. You bring the fight to my doorstep, I’ll be there. I think that’s how it is.”
Time will tell if he gets his wish.

He made his UFC debut against Brad Scott which he won via unanimous decision at UFC on FX 6 – Sotiropoulos vs. Pearson on Dec / 15 / 2012 and then followed it up with a win over Colton Smith via TKO at UFC 160 – Velasquez vs. Bigfoot 2 on May / 25 / 2013.
He then lost to Court McGee via split decision at UFC Fight Night – Condit vs. Kampmann 2 on Aug / 28 / 2013 and then Stephen Thompson via TKO at UFC 170 – Rousey vs. McMann on Feb / 22 / 2014.
