Rashad Evans looked to be in great shape. Even so Lyoto still looked bigger.

Hughes looked in great shape as well.

    Shierk looked smaller than normal……

Like your picks….especially the hughes one. My favorite fighter too. I agree with pretty much all of them except the Larson fight. I have a strange feeling Pyle will crank out a guilliotine midway through the first. However i wouldnt be suprised with your outcome. These are almost the exact same picks i have for my UFC Fantasy.

Hughes by KO?! I usually dont do this but . . . . . LOL!

      • Nightmare says:

        Tw@

i said hughes by ko because i want him to retire after getting what he has always wanted to do and even better on serra i think he might be looking for since he knows he is retiring win or lose.

Wow, I didn’t realize just how many fights on this card I’m interested in, sure there’s not that much “star power” attached to this card, but top to bottom there are fights I want to see. I will post my picks in a bit.

Doesn’t look like Dana Made weight this time.

Hello all I’m still in this god forsaken blast furnace..FR I may actually get to see the fights!!! I’m so stoked!

  • frantzfanon says:

I’m really looking forward to the fights tonight. Machida is favored to win, but I’d really like to see Rashad Evans come out victorius once again. If he can stop The Dragon early, there must be a case made for him being one of the pound-for pound best fighters in MMA. Let’s not forget, at five feet, eleven inches in stature, he is consistently giving away three to five inches in height and two to three inches in reach. Yet he looks better with each performance. I’ve been reading comments for months, and I can’t understand why so many MMA enthusiasts refuse to embrace such a dynamic, disciplined, and driven fighter. He seems to be pillaged for actions that, when done by other fighters, are either recieved favorably by the public or garners no consternation at all (Iceman’s cute double-bird in Wandy’s face in the presser before their contest comes to mind–completely unwarranted). Besides, if Anderson Silva is going to continue his foray into the 205 division, everyone should be rooting for Evans to find the solution to the Lyoto question. The bond between Lyoto and Anderson would prevent Spider from attempting to capture a historic concurrent title, plus rob us of an epic matchup between (possibly) between Spider and Sugar Rashad.

On another note, I’m hoping Phillipe Nover can get a win tongiht, and would love to see Mr. Serra vanquish the holier-than-thou Matt Hughes once and for all.

This was my charter comment here. Thanks to everyone for the time.

I have to disagree with you about the epic fight frantzfanon, I think a better fight would be rampage-anderson. I also think rampage has a better chance of beating machida than rashad has of beating machida. however rampage seems to have a weakness against brazilians, his only weakness IMO. he doesnt fare well against them. I know he ko’d wandy recently, but what about his two losses to wandy and loss to shogun where combined they threw about 300 knees to rampage. I agree with justin that the card may be lacking star power that 100 has, this card has more solid matchups that may all be really exciting, entertaining fights.

    • OnlyTrue1 says:

We all have a suffer a weakness toward Brazillians!!! Brazillian women that is!!!!

This fight doesn’t lack star power. Matt Hughes is a big name, Rashad Evans is the LHW champ. Lyoto is a big name, Sheirk is a big name Serra is some what of a name. It really boils down to “if your a fan of these particular guys”

Of course it’s not gonna be as stacked as 100 that UFC is the big one.

    Attn: Nightmare
Chael Sonnen by tko over Dan Miller??? I mean, i understand anything can happen but the percentage of a miracle like happening that can’t be too high, lol. That prediction just got me looking forward to that fight tonight just to see how it plays out. Im not gonna google it bc i could care less about Chael Sonnen but has he ever tko’d anybody? Just sayin cuz Dan Miller is a tough scrappy bastard. Props if u get that one right but i say Miller takes it. And I cant even begin to think of how the main event will actually play out….but I have a gut feeling something crazy is gonna happen out of nowhere. Pulling for Lyoto tho!! How can you bet against a guy whose never lost a round? Not to mention i’ve seen his fights pre UFC. Just look at the names on that list
