Dude that fight sucked so much ass!

I think what dana said about jason pierce was dead on. He probably showed up to the house and realized he wasn’t a fighter cuz that dude HELLA didn’t want to fight. It’s crazy how EVERY season we see one of these dudes.

Can’t wait to see why bisping threw water at demarques. I like how demarques threw his hat at bisping. I bet he’d probably beat bispings ass.

  • White_Boy says:

SO, that was the worst episode of TUF I have ever watched and I have watched every episode since the season 1 finale. The episode showed way too much time in the house which was mainly immature idiots trying to get facetime on TV. There was hardly any time spent on training except the US coaches bashing their fighter for the week. Then the whole Pierce thing was total crap. He shouldn’t have ever been on the show. And the fight, wow, a 135er that will get destroyed in his next fight, just like he did in the first round of this one. Against a guy that didn’t want to make excuses for why he gassed, but spent 10 minutes doing just that. Wow, this season started out so good with the 2 fights and concentration on the training. Ok, I’m done.

  • eldiablo says:

Besides Johnson, Winner, and Dollar, this season’s fighters are real lame. I’m just not excited about this season and really only happen to catch episodes on rerun or time shifting; usually I’m planing my week around watching TUF and such, but not this year. I agree with White Boy that there was some promise with Bisbing and Hendo being the trainers and all, and a couple good fights by the guys I mentioned to start the show off, but since then…..meh.
Bisbing kind of set the mood for the whole show when he slept in; if the coaches don’t care to show up, why should the fans (yeah, I know he had jet lag, but does jet lag really last 5 days????)!

    • ryanmoney says:

Doller is lame too man lol

    • huertarogerhuerta says:

he took sleeping pills to help him sleep. u ever been dead tired but just couldnt sleep so u take some PM type asprin? ur not waking up anytime soon. u could fire a gun off next to my ear im still not wakin up

      • eldiablo says:

Or, as an elite athlete, he can get over jet lag after 5 days. The guy travels and fights for a living; sleeping pills or not, his actions (and he’ll admit it) were unexcusable.
And why is he taking sleeping pills withot knowing how his body will react to them? I know if it’s 3am and I take a couple tylenol PMs, I’m not getting up until at least 10am; Bisbing should have known the same. No excuses.

  • MMAFan says:

I’m glad I was surfing the net while I was watching, otherwise I’d have fallen asleep. It was just one of those fights that no one truly one, it’s just that one guy lost worse than the other.

And Pierce… what the ****?? These are guys that are supposed to be young but somewhat proven pros taking a shot to make or break their career. And he gets all sulky and stops training from a staph infection? It’s really a shame to have him shoulder to shoulder with guys that will get their teeth knocked out and keep doing their best.

I will say about more recent seasons compared to the first ones… having the preliminary round to fight their way into the house has eliminated a lot of those types of fighters from the show. So that was a great and overall successful move on White’s part. In Pierce’s case though, he is mentally done and it’s obvious. Not only should he not be fighting, he should be sent home. All he is going to do from this point on is sulk and bring down the rest of the fighter’s morale.

  • Jason Pierce should be relieved. Being on the show made him realize that he doesn’t want to be a pro fighter. If he wouldn’t have made it into the show, he problably would have realized this far into the future from now, it’s better he knows this now, that way he doesn’t continue to waste his time and can go pursue other things in life, but fighting is not one of them. Come on if he really wanted to fight he would have, but he was scared or something. there have been guys before with injuries that still fought or wanted to fight, the doctor cleared him, what more can you ask for?

Anyway can’t wait for next week’s episode. Bisping gets like a bi*ch who can dish it out, but can’t take it. I can’t wait to see Demarques piss Bisping off, Bisping’s a douche.

    • MMAFan says:

Totally agree with you about Pierce, dude. For his sake it’s better to know now than find out after wasting a few more years thinking fighting is right for him.

Hopefully with the first round fights about done the show will pick up again. There are some second round matchups that could get really interesting once we get the more fierce fighters showing their stuff again!

  • Justin says:

    Gunslinger,
Your boy Dent disappointed me this week. With both being uncoachable, and not really having a killer instinct in his fight.

    all,
Pierce, well… I don’t know what to say about that guy, he was always down all along, and then his health got bad and he was even more down. Maybe he really did want to fight but he’s not good at communicating that, or maybe he just sucks at life. I think it’s the latter. With the attitude and approach he takes to things, I doubt he’ll ever be good at anything, maybe he could be a great fighter, with a better attitude, or maybe he’d be great at something else with a better attitude. However that “Eeyore” type “ooh bootherrr” attitude is just going to suck at life in general, and never be great at anything.

    • MMAFan says:

Harsh dude… HARSH! We only see a glimpse of him on the show. It was evident that fighting just isn’t in his heart like it has to be to succeed as an elite fighter. But to call the guy a failure in life… Man!

      • ryanmoney says:

        Amen to that MMAFan.

I don’t know if any of you fight or have fought before but fighting is tough. It requires a certain mentality and not everyone has it. I wasn’t sure that I had it even after my first five fights. I really feel bad for Pearce. It must be tough to realise that you don’t have what it takes, and even tougher to realise that during the tapings.

I will be the first one to admit that If I got a call from the UFC tomorrow telling me that they wanted me to fight for them, I would be crapping myself. Fighting is the easy part. I think with Pearce it is the pressure of performing on that grand stage and having the best of the best judging him. That would scare me a little!

Its a real shame as He, along with Dent and the Ginger kid are the only two Americans in that house that have shown maturity and respect.

  • ryanmoney says:

TYPO****Its a real shame as He, along with Dent and the Ginger kid are the only few Americans in that house that have shown maturity and respect.****

Another thing, just because Pearce lacks the mentality to carry on fighting, does not mean that he will “suck at life”. Remember he still earned his place in the house and therefor possibly is more mentally stronger than those who don’t fight.

  • David says:

This season’s Ultimate Fighter could not be more boring.

The goings on in the house, the Frisbee and tennis are all pointless gimmicks that inevitably fall flat.

That guy got gassed after round one… what a joke, do they even train?

When the show focuses on what Dana White/ skin infections you know the show is dead and has “jumped the shark”.

So far the show spends a lot of time on the fighters HYPING themselves and completely NOT delivering.

Maybe White is hoping the low-IQ, “Professional Wrestling” crowd will be the demographic that caries the show and it’s advertisers.

    But I’m all but out.

I’ll record the last 20min to see the fight from now on, but the rest of the show which is now like, weightless, styrofoam filler is just a waste of airtime.

    • bsbiz says:

If you paid any attention to the show (and I believe it was mentioned twice, maybe three times), “That guy” (known to the rest of us as Jeff Lawson) picked up a nasty case of bronchitis (likely on the plane ride over, my personal guess) and wasn’t cleared to train the first ten days he was here. Just pointing that out for you. Clearly you have checked out of the show.

This was the only episode that “focuses on what Dana White/ skin infections,” and in all honesty, was kind of important to what’s going on.

Pay attention to the big picture, not each one hour snapshot. Oh wait. You checked out already.
