He beat Scott Jorgensen via rear naked choke at The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale on Apr / 13 / 2013. He beat Iuri Alcantara via Unanimous Decision at UFC Fight Night – Shogun vs. Sonnen on Aug / 17 / 2013. He then beat Michael McDonald via Guillotine Choke at UFC on Fox 9 – Johnson vs. Benavidez 2 on Dec / 14 / 2013. In his last fight he lost to Renan Barao via 1st Rd TKO at UFC 169 – Barao vs. Faber 2 on Feb / 01 / 2014.

Faber is set to fight Alex Caceres at UFC 175 next month.
