Middleweights Aaron Simpson and Steve Steinbeiss, who train together at Arizona Combat Sports, will compete in seperate bouts at UFC 103, according to Five Ounces of Pain, which is rumored to take place on September 26th in the UK.
According to the report, Phoenix, Arizona is also under consideration to hold the September event.
Simpson (5-0), an All-American wrestler at e, debuted in the WEC in November, scoring an 18-second knockout of David Avellan. He then upped his undefeated record to 5-0 in his UFC debut in April at UFN 18, knocking out Tim McKenzie just 1:40 into the opening round.
Steinbeiss (4-2) suffered a split decision loss to Carmelo Marrero in November in his WEC debut, but was still tappedto join the UFC after the 185-pound division was dropped from the WEC. “The Hooligan” was scheduled to make his UFC debut in April against Ryan Jensen at UFN 18, but the bout was scratched after Jensen failed to be medically cleared for the contest.
No opponents are yet rumored for either fighter.
