Bobby Green and Abel Trujillo Added To UFC 176

The UFC announced that a lightweight bout between Bobby Green and Abel Trujillo has been added to UFC 176 on Aug. 2 in Los Angeles.

Bobby Green (22-5) has won his last seven fights, he made his UFC debut against Jacob Volkmann which he beat via submission. He is coming off a win over Pat Healy at UFC on Fox 9 – Johnson vs. Benavidez 2 on Dec / 14 / 2013 via decision.

Main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.

Abel Trujillo (12-5) was supposed to face Myles Jury Pulls at UFC Fight Night 44 later this month on June 28th. Trujillo (12-5) has scored two convincing second round finishes in each of his last two bouts, stopping Jamie Varner and Roger Bowling. His last loss came to contender Khabib Nurmagomedov via decision in early 2013.

The main event will be Jose Aldo vs. Chad Mendes. UFC has a lot of fights to add to this card. Here is the current line up:
