UFC Fight Night 42

Former UFC Lightweight Champion Benson Henderson (20–3) appeared on UFC Tonight, this past Wednesday night, he spoke about his upcoming fight with Rustam Khabilov (17-1) this Saturday night at UFC Fight Night 42.

His Rivalry Online With Khabilov: “Sadly, that’s a true story. I saw a Tweet and I saw a Russian name and I thought it was Khabib Nurmagomedov because they had a hard time finding him an opponent.”

Henderson has 2 knockouts, 8 submissions and 10 decision victories in his MMA career. Prior to losing the UFC Lightweight belt, he was on a seven fight winning streak. In his last four fights, he is 3-1.

How Does He Match Up With Rustam Khabilov: “He’s a great Sambo guy, a world class wrestler. Any time you’ve got two great grapplers going at it, it can end up being a stand-up war. We’re ready for anything, a lot of grappling or a stand up war, just throwing a lot of bombs.”
