Opener: MATT HOBAR (8-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) VS. PEDRO MUNHOZ (10-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC)

Round 1: Opening fight, Hobar and Munhoz. Here we go, Hobar with a leg kick. Munhoz with another right hand. Hobar with a nice right, but Munhoz answers. Hobar with a nice combo, Munhoz with a good straight, he throws a kick, but caught. Munhoz with a nice right, he lands it again. Hobar catches a kick and answers. Hobar with a body kick, they bang in the pocket. Munhoz with jab, head kick and Hobar is hurt. Munhoz takes him down and goes for a guillotine choke, can he get? Hobar is trying to get out and does.They stand, Munhoz with a knee to the face. Munhoz with a right hand, Hobar is hurt. Munhoz with another takedown, he is in guard and is landing some serious shots to end the fight! Thank god we got an exciting fight to start things off!

Round 1: Lima and Moreira, here we go. Lima with a head kick right off the bat. They clinch and they break, Lima with a big right that drops Moreira and then he finishes on the ground with a flurry of punches. WOW.

Round 1: Last Fight Pass Fight, Abreu and Silva, here we go. Abreu swings and misses right off the bat. Silva with a leg kick, Abreu with a big right that hurts Silva and he chases him down. They exchange, Abreu clinches and attempts to throw Silva, but blocked. They stand, Silva with a leg kick. Abreu with a body strike, he misses an overhand right. Silva with a right hook, but Abreu lands a big right hand. He tries to finish on the ground, but can’t. Silva gets to his feet, Abreu with a left jab, Silva misses a big right hand. Silva misses a head kick, but does land a jab. They exchange, Abreu with a body kick and then a right hook. Abreu chases after him with strikes. Silva misses a right hand, but lands a head kick. Silva with a body kick, Abreu clinches and puts him on the fence. He puts pressure on Silva and the referee breaks it. Silva misses a right hook and Abreu lands a jab. Silva with a body kick, Abreu misses a right hand. Silva with a kick to the nuts. They exchange to end the round.

Round 2: Abreu goes right after Silva, he lands a flurry of strikes and then clinches with Silva on the fence. They break, Abreu misses an overhand right. Silva misses a right hand and eats a forearm shot. Abreu lands a left hook that drops Silva and Abreu gets his back to submit Silva with a rear naked choke.

Round 1: Fight fight on Fox Sports 1, Eddiva and Souaz, here we go. Eddiva with a leg kick, Souva with a bounces stance. Souza misses a big right hand. They exchange briefly, Souza with a sharp right hand. Eddiva with a side kick to the face. Eddiva with a good left hook. Eddiva lands a right hook that hurts Souza and drops him. He gets in side control, then head guard. Eddiva lands strikes from the top position Souza sets up a triangle, but Eddiva gets out. Eddiva keeps control while on top and continues to land strikes. Souza gets up and they stand. Eddiva with leg kicks, Souza with a nice combo and they exchange. Souza with a knee to the body and they briefly clinch. They exchange bombs, Eddiva with two leg kicks. Souza misses a big right hand and then they just start throwing bomb! Eddiva with a leg kick, but Souza lands a huge right hand that drops Eddiva, but he gets right back up. Eddiva lands a big right that cuts Souza open. They exchange bombs, lefts, rights and everything. Souza lands a flurry of strikes, but Eddiva will not go down! Eddiva is loopy, but they make it to the bell.

Round 2: Eddiva with a leg kick and body kick. Eddiva misses a big right hand. Eddiva lands a side kick to the face. Souza with a left hook, they exchange in the pocket. Souza with a straight right, Eddiva lands a leg kick. Souza misses a wild right hand. Eddiva with a head kick and then a leg kick. Souza with a  nice combo, Eddiva misses a head kick. Souza with a left hook, they exchange in the pocket. Both guys lands a straight right. Souza with a body kick, but caught and Eddiva goes for a single leg. They clinch to the fence and then break. Souza with a left/right combo. Eddiva with a kick to the leg of Souza. However Souza with a left and then right that hurts Eddiva. Souza with a wild right hand, he then hits a left and right. They exchange and once again throwing bombs. Souzaw with a flurry of strikes and Eddiva is hurt. Souza mixes it up and Herb Dean steps in to stop the fight.

PAULO THIAGO (15-6 MMA, 5-6 UFC) VS. GASAN UMALATOV (14-3-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC)

Round 1: Thiago and Umalatov, here we go. Umalatov with a spinning back kick that lands on the shoulder of Thiago. However Thiago lands a head kick. Thiago with a left hook, Umalatov misses an overhand right. Umalatov with a leg kick. He lands a spinning back kick. They exchange leg kicks, Thiago with two jabs, Umalatov with one of his own. Thiago with a head kick that just glances Umalatov. They clinch and Umalatov puts him on the fence. He applies pressure as he backs him and keeps him on the fence. Thiago with shots from under and the referee breaks it up. Thiago with jabs, but Umalatov answers. Thaigo with an up kic, Umalatov with a left hook, but Thiago shoots, but stuffed. Umalatov looks to choke out Thiago, but does not. Thiago gets to his feet and they clinch all the way to the fence. Umalatov puts Thiago on the fence and applies pressure to end the round.

Round 2: Thiago wiht a head kick right off the bat. Umalatov wiht a nice left hook that hurts Thiango and he drops. Umalatov clinches and drags him down. He gets in half guard and lands short, but effective strikes. He looks for a guillotine choke, but can’t get it. Thiago gets to his feet and clinches with Umalatov. They break and stand, Umalatov goes back to the clinch and puts him on the fence. They break, Thiago with a body shot. Umalatov with a spinning back kicks and so does Thiago. Thiago with a jab, Umalatov answers. Thigao slips, but stands up and clinches with Umalatov. He puts him on the fence, he lands a knee to the jaw of Umalatov. Thiago with a takedown, but Umalatov gets the top position and the 50/50 guard. Umalatov lands a series of strikes. Thiago escapes and tries to take down Umalatov and does . Umalatov back to his feet, they clinch to end the round.

Round 3: Final round, Thiago with a body kick. He then connects with a leg kick. Thiago with a head kick, but Umalatov answers with one of his own. They exchange jabs, Thiago with a head kick. Umalatov misses a right hook. He does land a left hook. Umalatov with a nice left/right combo. Thiago with one of his own. Not a ton of offense in this fight. Thiago walks into a big right hand from Umalatov. Umalatov misses and big left and right. thiago with an overhand right. Umalatov with a spinning back to the face of Thiago. Thiago with a nice body kick, Umalatov clinches for a moment, but lets it go. Thiago with knees to the body of Umalatov and Umalatov clinches then puts him on the fence. Thiago gets off the fence and shoots in for a takedown, but stuffed. Thiago tries to get on the back of Umalatov, but can’t. They stand and exchange to end the fight.

Result: Gasan Umalatov def. Paulo Thiago via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)

ERNEST CHAVEZ (7-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) VS. ELIAS SILVERIO (10-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC)

Round 1: Chavez and Silverio, here we go. Chavez with a big right hook and then they excahgne. Silverio with  over hand right, Chavez with one of his own. Silverio clinches and then they break. Silverio with an overhand right. Silverio kicks Chavez in the nuts and we take a break. We’re back, Silverio with a series of knees to the face, but Chavez clinches and puts him on the fence. Silverio gets out and they stand once more. Chavez with a big right hook, and then he clinches with Silverio. They stand and Silverio lands a back kick. Silverio with another one, he lands a leg kick. Chavez with a body kick, but eats a big right. Silverio with a head kick, then a jab. They clinch, Chavez puts him on the fence and applies pressure to end the round.

Round 2: Silverio with a jab right off the bat, Silverio lands another one. He hits a head kick and then a body kick. Chavez clinches and puts him on the fence. He goes for a single leg, but Silverio blocks and lands a knee to the face. Chavez is in control while in the clinch, but is bleeding pretty good. The referee breaks it up, Chavez back to the clinch, then breaks it up. Silverio with a  good left hook, Chavez goes back to the clinch, Silverio with a jab. Silverio with a kick to the leg and then a body kick. They both exchange strikes. Silverio with an overhand right. Chavez presses forward, but eats a back kick. Silverio is getting tired, Silverio lands two overhand rights. Chavez with a counter shot. Chavez with a  left and then right. Chavez with a right hook, but Silverio lands a back kick. Chavez with a counter left hook. Silverio with a kick to the nuts, he lands a series of strikes, but Chavez recovers and they exchange to end the round.

Round 3: Final round, Silverio with a body kick, they exchange and clinch, Silverio finishes with a knee. They break, Silverio with a back body kick. Chavez with a left hook. Silverio with a left/right combo. Chavez with a big straight right, Silverio lands an overhand right. Silverio with a kick to the nuts. Chavez regroups and here we go. Silverio misses an overhand right, He lands a spinning back kick to the face. Silverio with left jab, Chavez with one of his own. Silverio with a straight right, he is finding his range.  with a jab to the face and body. Chavez with a right hook and clinches with Silverio. He goes for a single leg, but blocked. They break and Chavez clinches once more. Chavez with knees to the leg and the referee breaks it up. Chavez with a  left hook and then a nice combo. They exchange, Silverio clinches with a waist lock and puts him on the fence. Silverio gets him down and gets the back. He locks in a rear naked choke for the win.

RODRIGO DAMM (12-6 MMA, 3-1 UFC) VS. RASHID MAGOMEDOV (16-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC)

Round 1: Damm and Magomedov, here we go. Damm with a leg kick, Magomedov answers with his own. Magomedov with a head kick, they exchange leg kicks. Very lackluster first 2 minutes. Magomedov with a straight right, Magomedov misses a head kick. Magomedov throws more kicks than punches. The crowd is hating this! Damm with a overhand right. Magomedov slips and Damm lands a leg kick. Magomedov with a big overhand right which drops him. Magomedov wants him to get up, does not go in for the kill. Really? Damm sits on his back and Magomedov kicks the legs of Damm to end the round.

Round 2: Damm misses a big right hand. Damm with leg kicks, Damm misses an uppercut. Damm lands a body kick. Magomedov with one of his own. Magomedov mixes it up with leg kicks, Damm with one of his own. Magomedov with an overhand right, Magomedov misses a head kick. A brief exchange, Damm misses a overhand right. They exchange once more and Magomedov lands a counter right hook. Magomedov with a straight right. Magomedov with a left body kick. Damm with a leg kick, Damm with an overhand right. They exchange and Damm is getting the better of the two. Damm shoots in, but does not get the takedown. He clinches and presses him on the fence. They break and exchange to end the round.

Round 3: Thankfully it’s the final round. they exchange to start the round. Damm with a body kick, Magomedov lands a head kick. Damm shrugged it off and lands a body punch. Damm with a single leg, but stuffed and they go to the cage where they clinch. Damm applies pressure, he gets him down at one moment, but Magomedov stands up and back on the fence. Damm has double under hooks in, Damm lands a knee to the body. They break and stand once more. Magomedov with a nice right hook, Damm with a left hook that lands! he just misses a right hook. Magomedov with a head kick. They exchange and both fighters pressing. Damm lands a nice combo. Damm with a leg kick, they exchange huge bombs. Magomedov wiht a right hook, Damm just misses. Damm with an overhand right, Damm with a flurry of punches and they once more exchange to end the fight.

RONY JASON (14-4 MMA, 4-1 UFC) VS. ROBERT PERALTA (17-4 MMA, 3-1 UFC)

Round 1: Jason and Peralta, here we go. Peralta with a leg kick, but misses an overhand right.  Jason with a flying knee to the face of Peralta. They clinch, Peralta puts him on the fence and applies pressure. Jason shoots, but stuffed and they stand once more. Peralta with a back kick to the body of Jason. Jason lands a spinning back elbow and then a leg kick. Peralta with a body kick, they exchange and Peralta clinches then puts him on the fence. Jason slides out and they meet in the circle. Peralta with a nice combo, he lands a body kick. Jason trips him and lands a big right hand. Peralta with a leg kick, but misses a head kick. They exchange, Jason lands an elbow, but misses a head kick. They exchange to end the round.

Round 2: Peralta with a head kick to start the round off, he lands a series of leg kicks. Jason with a big right hand, then follows it up with a combo. Peralta with a flurry of punches and then clinches with Jason, he puts him on the cage and applies pressure Jason reverses and takes him down. He lands in half guard, Peralta reverses and stands up, the referee stands them up.  Peralta with a leg and body kick. Jason with a body kick f his own. Peralta with a nice combo that rocks Jason, Peralta with a flurry of strikes. Jason with an overhand right. He then lands a back elbow, but lands a right hand. Jason with a flying knee and they exchange to end the round.

Round 3: Peralta with a leg kick, and Jason answers. Jason misses a big right hand and Peralta lands a left hook. Peralta with a leg kick, Jason with a body kick. Jason nails a spinning back kick, Jason with a left hook that catches Peralta in the left eye. We’re back to action, Jason with a body kick. Peralta with an overhand right, Jason clinches and puts him on the fence. Peralta reverses and puts him on the fence. Jason reverses and now they are in a clinch battle. Another reversal by Peralta, Jason with a toss, but Peralta gets to his feet and they stand once more. Peralta with a leg kick, Peralta with a left hook. Jason with an overhand right. Peralta lands a big left hook, Peralta lands a body kick. They have a brief exchange. Jason with a body kick. Jason with a takedown and presses him on the fence to end the round.

Result: Robbie Peralta def. Rony Jason via split decision (29-28, 27-30, 30-27)

DEMIAN MAIA (18-6 MMA, 12-6 UFC) VS. ALEXANDER YAKOVLEV (21-4-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC)

Round 1: Maia and Yakovlev, here we go. A lot of fakes by Maia, Maia lands a left hook. Maia with an overhand right. Maia shoots, but misses. Maia with a leg kick, Maia misses an overhand right. Offense Yakovlev? Yakovlev misses a right hook, Maia with a big left hook that drops Yakovlev and gets to the full mount. Maia lands short, but effective strikes. Maia with elbows from the mount, he continues to rain down, elbows that are doing some serious damage. Herb Dean looks closely at this fight, Yakovlev tries to kick off the cage, but can’t. Maia keeps control on top to end this round.

Round 2: Yakovlev with a leg kick, Maia misses an overhand right. Yakovlev with another leg kick,  they exchange briefly, Yakovlev goes for a takedown, but stuffed and Maia clinches while putting him on the fence. He drags him down and gets into half guard. He transitions into mount and lands a mix of strikes. Yakovlev gets his back to the fence, but can’t get up. Maia with more strikes from the top position. Yakovlev escapes, reverses and gets in top position. Yakovlev looks for a guillotine choke, can he get it? No, he lets go and gets in half guard, he keeps control and the crowd doesn’t like it.

Round 3: Yakovlev with two leg kicks, Maia with a left jab, but Yakovlev with a double leg takedown, but gets up and just wants to score points. Yakovlev with more and more leg kicks, Yakovlev with a nice combo that finishes with an uppercut. Yakovlev with a leg kick and another one. Maia clinches and takes him down. He gets in the mount, he lies on him and continues to land short strikes and elbows.  Maia transitions and tries to get an armbar, but can’t. Maia with strikes to end the round.

Result: Demian Maia def. Alexander Yakovlev via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

WARLLEY ALVES DE ANDRADE (6-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) VS. MARCIO ALEXANDRE JR. (12-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC)

Round 1: Alves and Alexandre Jr, here we go. Alexandre with a head kick, Alves with a bir right that drops Alexandre and he tries to finish him on the ground. He is in half guard, he lands a series of elbows Alexandre gets back to his feet, but Alves puts him on the the fence and applies pressure. He lands a series of knees to the face of Alexandre. Alves with another takedown and slides into side control. He lands an elbow while in top position. He gets his back, but Alexandre stands up and puts his back to the fence. Alves still containing the clinch, Alexandre with a knee to the gut of Alexandre. they are broken up, Alexandre with a knee to the gut, but Alves lands a body kick. Alves with a spinning kick and then a right hand. Alves clinches and takes Alexandre down. Alexandre stands up, but Alves lands a knee to the face and puts him on the fence to end the round.

Round 2: Alves takes Alexandre down and into side control. He transitions into guard and lands a series of strikes. Alves trying to finish, but can’t. He lands an axe kick that lands to the chest of Alexandre. Alves keeps control, he lands more strikes, Alexandre stands up and they go back to standing. Alves clinches and puts him on the fence, Alves with knees to the leg and body of Alexandre. The referee breaks it up, they go back to standing strikes. Alexandre with a body kick, but Alves grabs him, clinches with him and puts him on the fence with one minute to go. Alves with a knee to the face, the referee breaks things up, Alexandre with a left hand and they exchange to end the round.

Round 3: Alexandre with a right hand, Alves with a huge right and then a knee. Alexandre shoots in, but Alves locks in a guillotine choke and wins the fight!

Round 1: Carlos Jr and Miranda, here we go. Jr misses a wild right hand, Miranda with a leg kick. Jr pressing the action, a nice combo by Miranda. Jr clinches and puts him on the cage. Jr accidently knees Miranda in the nuts. Jr with a head kick, Miranda misses an up kick. Jr with a leg kick and then a nice combo which leads to a takedown. Miranda gets right up and Jr presses him on the cage. Jr with a leg sweep and puts him down on the ground. Jr breaks it and lands a nice combo. Jr with a jab, Miranda with a leg kick. Jr with a series of strikes, Miranda misses a leg kick. They exchange to end this round.

Round 2: Miranda with a leg kick right off the bat, Jr with an overhand right. Miranda tries a body kick, but Jr catches it and takes him down. He gets in half guard, he is in top position and lands short, but effective strikes from the top. Jr gets the full mount and continues to land strikes. Miranda escape from the bottom, but Jr controls Miranda and gets back to half guard. Jr goes for a heel hook, but does not get it and Miranda stands up. Miranda with kicks to the legs of Jr while he is on his back. Miranda jumps in and gets in the guard of Jr. Miranda puts him on the fence while still in half guard, he lands some strikes, JR goes for a triangle, but nothing that Miranda is concerned about. He stays on top and lands elbow shots from top position. Jr reverses and stands up. He clinches and puts him on the fence to end the round.

Round 3: Final round, Miranda with leg kicks. Jr with a jab and then a takedown. He puts him on the fence as Miranda lands elbows to the back of the head of Jr. Miranda trying to stand, but JR stays his ground. Jr drags him out and gets in half guard. Miranda with shots to the body of Jr. Jr stays patient and continues to control the fight. Miranda slides his way to the fence, where he puts his back on it. Jr gets the back of Miranda and wraps himself around him. Jr looks for a choke, but just can’t lock it in. Jr goes to mount and he lands some serious elbows. He then goes into side control and then back to mount. He finishes off the round strong.

Result: Antonio Carlos Jr. def. Vitor Miranda via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)

Main Event: FABIO MALDONADO (21-6 MMA, 4-3 UFC) VS. STIPE MIOCIC (11-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC)

Round 1: Maldonado and Miocic, here we go. Maldonado goes right after stipe. They exchange, Stipe with a  big right hand that hurts Maldonado. Stipe with a leg kick, he lands a big right hand that drops Maldonado and finishes him on the ground for the win. Well good night everyone!
