UFC Fight Night 41: Munoz Vs. Mousasi goes down this Saturday afternoon on UFC Fight Pass. MMA Frenzy will have the latest news leading up to, during and after the event, as well as having the latest and greatest live play-by-play coverage of the event. From the first fight of the prelim side of the card to the main event fight on Fight Pass Keep it locked on MMA Frenzy. The headlining fight is Mark Munoz vs. Gegard Mousasi, the co-main event is C.B. Dollaway vs. Francis Carmont. The event airs from Berlin, Germany at the O2 World Berlin. The show starts with a heavyweight fight between Viktor Pesta vs. Ruslan Magomedov at 12:30.PM.ET.

Opener: RUSLAN MAGOMEDOV (11-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) VS. VIKTOR PESTA (9-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC)

Round 1: Opening fight, Pesta and Magomedov are ready to go.  Magomedov with a miss of a high kick. They exchange, but nothing hard landed. Magomedov with a leg kick, he misses a high kick. Pesta lands a good right hook. Pest goes in for the kill, but Magomedov lands a good counter and drops him, Pesta up to his feet and clinches on the fence. He locks in under hooks, and they work their way from the fence. Break. Magomedov misses a soccer kick. They exchange, but nothing landed. Accuracy? Magomedov misses another high kick. He does land a leg kick. Pest misses a right hand and Magomedov lands a straight right. Magomedov tags Pesta with a right hand and then a head kick. Pesta is hurt. They Exchange, Magomedov is trying to finish. Pesta with an attempt takedown, but blocked. They clinch and Pesta is working. Magomedov puts him on the fence. Pesta with a big knee that drops Magomedov and he tries to finish on the ground. Pesta with strikes while in guard. Magomedov is trying to survive, Pesta rains more punches, but can’t finish. Pesta slows down and this turns into a grappling match. Pesta with heavy elbows and transitions into half guard. Pesta is forced back into guard, He continues to land elbows to end the round.

Round 2: The crowd is fired up for the second round. Magomedov with a body kick. Pest misses a right hand, but Magomedov lands a nice uppercut. Magomedov lands a counter right. Magomedov with a leg kick, Magomedov swings and misses a huge right hook. Magomedov lands a head kick, Magomedov with a nice low kick, Pesta misses a left hook. They exchange, but nothing lands. Pesta with a nice double leg takedown. Magomedov tries to stand up by using the fence, but Pesta brings him down. Pesta presses him on the fence, they stand and Pesta lands a knee to the face. Magomedov lands a soft right straight. Magomedov misses with a wild head kick. They exchange, but nothing lands. One minute left, Pesta walks into a big right hand by Magomedov. Magomedov fakes with a head kick, Pesta with wild swing of strikes and Magomedov counters nicely. Magomedov with a body kick. Pesta goes for a takedown, but stuffed. Magomedov lands a knee and they exchange. Magomedov with a big right hand, but the bell rings before he can finish him.

Round 3: Magomedov just misses a head kick. Magomedov lands a body kick. They exchange and Magomedov lands a nice counter uppercut. Pesta goes for a takedown, but stuffed and they got to the fence. Magomedov gets up and lands a flurry of strikes. They stand in the middle, Magomedov with a body kick. Magomedov misses a head kick. Pesta goes for a single leg takedown and does not get it. Magomedov lands a nice strike as soon as he gets up. Magomedov misses a wild right hand. Pesta looking for something and goes to clinch but does not get it. Magomedov with a nice left jab and then another. Magomedov misses a head kick. Magomedov with a nice lead uppercut. Magomedov lands a head kick, which hurts Pesta. Pesta misses a big right hand and retreats. He apparently recovered and goes for a waist takedown, but blocked. Magomedov just misses an uppercut. Pesta misses a right hook, then tries to clinch, but can’t get anything. They exchange to end the fight.

Result: Ruslan Magomedov def. Viktor Pesta via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

MAXIMO BLANCO (9-6-1 MMA, 1-3 UFC VS. ANDY OGLE (9-4 MMA, 1-3 UFC)

Round 1: Blanco and Ogle, here we go.  Blanco with a flying kick that drops Ogle out of nowhere. Blanco tries to finish on the ground. Blanco is all over him and Ogle is trying to stand up. Blanco has his back and Ogle gets to the cage. Ogle is hurt! Blanco slams him and gets his back where he lands a hammer fist. Ogle back on his feet, Ogle goes for a guillotine, but drops it. Ogle presses Blanco on the cage, but Blanco drops and then they get back on their feet where Blanco lands a knee to the face. Ogle clinches and puts him on the fence. They break, Blanco with a right hook, they exchange. Ogle tries and does take down Blanco. They stand, but Ogle gets his back and drops to the floor. He goes for a rear naked choke, can he get it? Well, he stays patient while Blanco connects with elbows to the body. Blanco gets out and reverses to half guard. Ogle is looking for some submission, Blanco grabs the neck of Ogle, they stand and Ogle presses on the cage. Ogle is looking for  takedown as he lands knees to the body. They break, they also exchange, Blanco with a head kick. Ogle misses a straight right. Ogle with a nice right, then a right hook. They exchange, but nothing really landing. Blanco misses a big up kick, Blanco with a right hook. They trade to end the first round. What a round!

Round 2: Here we go, Blanco with a big head kick, but Ogle takes him down. They stand up, Blanco goes for a rolling knee bar, but can’t get it. Ogle gets his back, while Blanco is landing back elbows. Blanco gets out and Ogle rolls through to get his back once more. Ogle locks in a one handed choke, while landing strikes with his left. Blanco lands strikes when he can, but Ogle is controlling this round. Ogle lays in this position for the majority of the round. Ogle continues to land short, but effective strikes to Blanco. Blanco reverses and gets to guard while on top position. Blanco lands short strikes in top position to end this round.

Round 3: 3rd and final round, a brief exchange with Blanco leading the charge. Ogle with three nice right jabs, Blanco is confused with his speed. Blanco with a nice jab, and they exchange more jabs. They both land good hooks, Blanco with a nice low kick. Ogle mixes it up with a body / shot strike. Ogle with a nice straight right. Blanco with one of his own. Blanco with a nice right hook that lands and Ogle is stunned. He is ok, Blanco grabs a single leg, but can’t get it. He lands a stiff right. A brief exchange, they exchange more, but nothing really landing sufficient. Blanco with a nice uppercut as Ogle presses forward. Ogle with an overhand right. He goes back to the body, but only connecting with air. Ogle attempts to clinch, but nothing and then misses a right hook. Blanco is starting to pick him apart, Ogle with a right hook. Blanco with a leg kick, they both land a right hook. Blanco with a spinning head kick that lands! Ogle shoots in for  a single leg, but stuffed. They stand, Ogle misses a head kick, but lands a body kick. Ogle with a nice stiff leg kick, they exchange to end the fight.

Division: Featherweight

PAWEL PAWLAK (10-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) VS. PETER SOBOTTA (13-4-1 MMA, 0-3 UFC)

Round 1: Pawak and Sobotta, here we go. Sobotta with a body kick and then another one. Pawlak misses a left straight. Sobotta lands a nice body kick. Pawlak misses a left hook and they exchange. Kick boxing anyone. Sobotta with another nice body kick. Pawlak with leg kicks, Sobotta with another body kick. Ogle misses with a right and eats a jab. Sobotta with a head kick that lands. Sobotta misses a straight left. Sobotta with a body kick and then a right hand. Pawlak can’t get anything going and the range is affecting his game. Sobotta with a nice left uppercut. He continues to land jabs. Pawlak noise is bleeding as he continues to miss with his strikes. Sobotta with more and more jabs. A brief exchange, but Sobotta gets better with jabs. Sobotta lands a leg kick. Pawlak misses a swing of right hooks. Sobotta  gets off balanced, but recovers. Pawlak lands a nice straight right. They exchange to end the round.

Round 2: They bang right off the bat, nothing connecting effectively. Pawlak misses a big right hook and Sobotta gets the takedown. He is in half guard, then into side control. Pawlak forces him back into guard as he lands elbows. Sobotta lands strikes from the top position. Pawlak lands elbows from the bottom as Sobotta gets in half guard and trying to advance. Pawlak with elbows the back of the head of Sobotta. Sobotta is back into guard, the heel of Pawlak gets caught in the trunks of Sobotta so the referee helps out. Sobotta with elbows to the body of Pawlak, They scramble and Sobotta gets back into guard. Sobotta landing short, but effective strikes from the top. Sobotta head butts Pawlak and gets warned. The round ends right after.

Round 3: Final round, Sobotta with a leg kick right off the bat. However Pawlak lands some of his own. Pawlak misses a head kick and then eats a nice combo by Sobotta. They tried kicking to the body. Pawlak misses a right hand and Sobotta takes him down. Pawlak gets his back to the fence, but Sobotta keeps the pressure on and gets a single leg takedown. Sobotta in half guard, he has a waist lock in as he advances to guard. Sobotta with elbows to the legs of Pawlak as he gets into half guard. Pawlak kicks him out and back into guard. Pawlak tries to land shots from the bottom, but is getting dominated. Sobotta into half guard and continues elbows to the gut of Pawlak. The referee gives them a warning and wants to stand it up. Sobotta is landing more and more strikes. The referee stands them up and they exchange to end the fight.

IURI ALCANTARA (29-5 MMA, 4-2 UFC VS. VAUGHAN LEE (14-9-1 MMA, 3-3 UFC)

Round 1: Alcantara and Lee, here we go. Lee with a nice combo, but Alcantara catches him with a flurry of strikes, drops him and finishes him on the ground. WOW!

MAGNUS CEDENBLAD (11-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC) VS. KRZYSZTOF JOTKO (14-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC)

Round 1: Cedenblad and Jotko, here we go. Jotko with a nice combo, he hunts him down and lands a nice jab. Cedenblad clinches and puts him on the fence. Cedenblad puts pressure on him while in the clinch as Jotko lands short strikes for points. Jotko with a knee to the gut and then puts Cedenblad on the fence. Jotko reverses, but Cedenblad gets a takedown. Cedenblad in half guard,  and Jotko is landing shots from the bottom. Cedenblad reverses and gets back into half guard. Cedenblad with shots from the bottom, Cedenblad with hammer fist from the top. The referee warns them to work, Cedenblad with bombs from the top, but can’t get a rhythm going. One minute left, Cedenblad lands a nice elbow, Jotko kicks up and gets up, but Cedenblad with another takedown and is in half guard. He stays in control to end the round.

Round 2: Cedenblad with a body kick right off the bat. Jotko with a nice combo.  Cedenblad lands a body kick and then a head kick. Cedenblad lands a knee to the gut, they exchange, but Cedenblad clinches and puts him on the fence. The referee stops the fight due to Cedenblad losing his mouth piece. We’re back to action, Cedenblad misses a body kick. Jotko with swings and misses them. He clinches and puts him on the fence. Cedenblad with knees to the body and then transitions into the guy putting the pressure on. He tries for a takedown, but Jotko using the cage nicely. Cedenblad with a takedown and transitions into half guard during the takedown. Cedenblad lands an elbow to the face of Jotko. Cedenblad steps over and then gets his back. Jotko gets out and transitions into a takedown of Cedenblad. Jotko is in half guard and lands elbows from the top. Jotko gets to mount and lands an elbow, he then gets the back and goes for the rear naked choke. Cedenblad reverses and gets into guard of Jotko while in top position. Cedenblad gets up and goes for a guillotine choke and with seconds to go, Jotko taps!

DREW DOBER (14-5 MMA, 0-1 UFC VS. NICK HEIN (10-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC)

Round 1: Dober, Hein, lets get it on! Dober with a leg kick, a brief exchange and Dober slips. Back to their feet. hein misses a wild combo of strikes. Hein with a nice straight left and then dodges a head kick by Nick Hein. Dober with a head kick and they exchange strikes. Dober is bleeding from his eyebrow. Dober with a straight left that hurts Hein, but Hein takes him down. He is in half guard, Hein with shot strikes has he continues to hold his position. Dober gets up and eats a big left straight. They exchange, Dober slips, but gets right back up. Dober with a leg kick, they exchange with Hein getting the better. Dober misses a leg kick, he shoots in, but stuffed. He puts Hein on the fence and clinch. Dober with strikes, but Hein takes him down and gets into guard. He lands a series of strikes while on top to end the round.

Round 2: Hein with a nice combo and gets a body lock, then puts Dober on the fence. He has under hooks, Dober gets out and lands a head kick. Hein misses a left hook. Dober with a combo and then gets out of the way of Hein’s strikes. Dober with a knee to the body and Hein can’t do anything about the speed. Dober landing and then getting out of danger. They exchange, Hein with a nice body/head combo. They throw bombs, but Hein shoots, but stuffed. He puts Dober on the fence and gets the back of Dober. Hein pressing him on the cage, Hein gets the takedown, but stands up and gets on the back of Dober. He is looking for a choke, Dober drops and Hein gets back on this back. Dober reverses and transitions into half guard. He lands short elbows and strikes while in top position. Dober is landing elbows at will and controls the action to the end of this round.

Round 3: Final round~! Hein with a strong left hook. Hein with a body hook that lands. they exchange strikes, Dober misses a straight right, but does get  takedown. Hein gets to the cage and stands up. Dober is starting to bleed a lot more. Dober puts on the pressure, but Hein slips out and the referee wants the doctor to check out Dober. The referee says he is OK to go. They swing for the fences, Hein with a nice straight right. Dober lands a nice leg hand, then a body kick. They exchange in the pocket, both guys landing big hooks. Hein misses a swinging right hook. Dober misses a left hook, he shoots in, but stuffed. He puts him on the fence to clinch. Dober with pressure, but Hein slips out. They exchange right hands, Hein with a right uppercut. Dober misses a head kick. Dober fakes with a takedown, and Hein lands a straight left. They continue to throw bombs and do so to end this fight.

Result: Nick Hein def. Drew Dober via unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27, 29-28)

NIKLAS BACKSTROM (7-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) VS. TOM NIINIMAKI (21-5-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC)

Round 1: Backstrom and Niinimaki, here we go. Backstrom with a leg kick, but misses a head kick. Niinimaki with a nice straight left and right. Niinimaki with a takedown, he is in half guard. Backstrom tries to kick his way out of this one, but Niinimaki stays in control. Backstrom gets to his feet, but Niinimaki drags him right back down and grabs the back of Backstrom. Backstrom makes his way to the cage and stands up. Niinimaki presses and tries to get a takedown, Niinimaki presses him on the cage to keep control. Backstrom with punches to the body of Niinimaki. Backstrom gets to his feet, but Niinimaki stays in control and puts him on the cage while in the clinch. Backstrom reverses and gains control. Niinimaki goes for a takedown, but stuffed and Backstrom gets a jumping guillotine choke which he lets go. Niinimaki in top position, but stands up. Niinimaki with a knee to the body. Backstrom with a big knee to the face, he gets a side head choke and Niinimaki taps out! Nicely done!

LUKE BARNATT (8-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) VS. SEAN STRICKLAND (14-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC)

Round 1: Barnatt and Strickland,  here we go. Barnatt eats a jab, he presses and lands a leg kick. Strickland with a leg kick, a slow start to this one. Strickland with a nice jab and then a leg kick. Strickland with a leg kick, this is the definition of a feeling out process. Strickland misses a straight right. The crowd doesn’t like this at all. Barnatt misses an overhand right and lag kick. Strickland with a stepping right. Strickland with two jabs back to back. Barnatt with leg kicks, Strickland answers. Strickland with a nice straight right. They exchange to end the round.

Round 2: Strickland with a left hook  right off the bat, Barnatt with a flying kick to the body. They exchange, Strickland with a waist lock and gets the takedown. He landing strikes, he gets into the guard. Barnatt is trying to get up and does. Strickland throws him against the fence, he clinches, but reversed and they stand again. Strickland with a nice left jab, Barnatt with a leg kick. Barnatt with a left hook. Barnatt not doing much damage, but starting to pick Strickland apart. Strickland with a  kick to the body and then they clinch. Strickland gets out and lands a nice jab. Strickland with another jab, Barnatt with a good straight right that hurts Strickland, but quickly recovered. Strickland with another jab. Barnatt lands a good combo that hurts Strickland, but recovered once more. Strickland lands an uppercut, Barnatt with an overhand right. They exchange some more to end the round.

Round 3: Final round, Strickland with a jab. Burnett is pressing the action, Strickland with another jab. Strickland is starting to bleed under the right eye. Barnatt with a right hook, he once again is landing faint but nothing massive damaging. They exchange jabs, Barnatt with a big overhand right, Strickland with a  body lock, but Barnatt gets out. Barnatt with a clinch of his own, but Strickland takes him down. They wrestle around, Strickland grabs the heel off Barnatt and then they go into 50/50 guard. Strickland with short strikes. They stand once more Barnatt with a nice combo that finishes with a left hook. Barnatt with a nice right hand. They exchange to end the most lackluster fight of the night.

Result: Sean Strickland def. Luke Barnatt via split decision (28-29, 30-27, 29-28)

Co-Main FRANCIS CARMONT (22-8 MMA, 6-1 UFC) VS. C.B. DOLLAWAY (14-5 MMA, 8-5 UFC)

Round 1: Dollaway and Carmont, here we go.  Dollaway with a stepping right hand. Dollaway misses a body strike. Dollaway presses the action in this one. Carmont with a nice strike/ kick combo. They trade leg kicks, Carmont with an overhand right. Dollaway with a leg kick, Carmont lands another overhand right. A nice counter left hook by Carmont. He hits a spinning kick to the body. They taunt each other which the crowd loves. Dollaway with a leg kick. Dollaway with a right and then a left hook that drops Carmont. However, Carmont gets right back up and drives him to the fence. Dollaway with elbows to the side of the head. Carmont with a single leg,  but stuffed. Carmont lands a straight right. Dollaway with a leg kick, and Carmont just misses a straight right. They exchange, Carmont with a spinning back kick to the gut and Dollaway with flurry of right hands. Carmont with a takedown, however Dollaway reverses and presses him on the cage to end the round.

Round 2: They try to fire up the crowd which they do. 2nd Round! Carmont with a body kick, he misses left jabs. Carmont with a leg kick. Carmont with a body kick, Dollaway with a stepping body strike. Carmont lands a head kick, Dollaway with a body/head strike combo. Carmont misses a head kick. Carmont with a hooking right and then a head kick. Carmont with a leg kick then a overhand right. Dollaway with a body lock and then a  takedown which he lands into half guard. Carmont gets to his feet, Dollaway drags him down and gets his back as they are on the cage. Carmont is on his feet, but Dollaway drags him down and goes for a kimura. Dollaway reverses and gets to his back. Carmont will not give up on the Kimura, Dollaway gets out and puts Carmont on his back. Dollaway in half guard, then into side control. He lands short strikes and Carmont goes back for the Kimura which he does not get. Dollaway gets his back and keeps control on the fence. Dollaway goes for a rear naked at the end, but nothing comes from it.

Round 3: Final round, Carmont with a fake strike and lands a leg kick. Carmont misses a left hook. Dollaway with a nice jab, Carmont with a spinning back kick to the body. Carmont with several leg kicks, Dollaway lands a straight right. Carmont with a nice combo. Carmont goes for a single leg, but nothing comes from it. Dollaway reverses and nails one of his own. Carmont is bleeding and Dollaway gets into half guard and then back mount. Dollaway goes for the rear naked choke, but only gets one hook under. Dollaway with more strikes from the top position. Dollaway goes for the choke once more, but Carmont puts him on the cage and reverses. They stand, Carmont puts him on the cage, Dollaway shoots and gets a takedown. Dollaway gets into half guard, and then mount where he lands short, but effective strikes. Dollaway gets Carmont’s back and controls the action. Carmont tries to get up, but Dollaway drags him down and is in half guard. He keeps control to end the fight.

Result: C.B. Dollaway def. Francis Carmont via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)

Round 1: Main event! Munoz and Mousasi, here we go. Munoz shoots, but Mousasi steps away. Munoz with a leg kick. Munoz shoots, but stuffed. He goes for it again and slams Mousasi down. Mousasi gets back to his feet. Mousasi with a left jab, Munoz misses an overhand right. They exchange, Munoz with a overhand right. Munoz shoots, but Mousasi reverses into the clinch. They do some nice work inside the clinch. Mousasi with a leg kick, Munoz shoots, but stuffed. Mousasi gets top position and is in side control. He lands a knee to the side. Mousasi with short strikes, he gets to the mount, but knocked off. Mousasi with clubbing elbows from the top. He gets his back and gets a face lock, but lets go. Mousasi on top and landing more elbows. Munoz stands and clinches, he presses him to the cage and then takes him down. Mousasi reverses and gets to mount, then back mount. He gets a rear naked choke, which Munoz taps!
