Well, it was not the most exciting fight of the night and was defiantly a technical fight to say the least. Barnatt did some damage, but nothing to make you think that this was a one sided fight. It went all three rounds and in what will be a very discussed split decision victory, Strickland with what looks like to be a broken hand won this fight.
Sean Strickland (14-0) has seven knockouts, four submissions and three decision victories in his MMA career. Prior to joining the UFC he was on a 13 fight winning streak. He made his UFC debut against Bubba McDaniel which he won via rear naked choke at UFC 171 – Hendricks vs. Lawler on Mar / 15 / 2014.
Luke Barnatt (8-0) has 3 knockouts, 3 submissions and 2 decision victorious in his MMA career. Prior to joining the UFC, he was on a five fight winning streak. He made his UFC debut against Collin Hart via unanimous decision at The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale on Apr / 13 / 2013. He then beat Andrew Craig via rear naked choke at UFC Fight Night – Machida vs. Munoz on Oct / 26 / 2013 and then in his last fight he beat Mats Nilsson via TKO at UFC Fight Night – Gustafsson vs. Manuwa on Mar / 08 / 2014.
