Arguably, this could be a performance bonus in the making, when you talk about all aspects of the MMA game, this fight would be the definition for that. They could stand and be entertaining or they could go to the ground and still be entertaining. Either way, this fight could go a hundred different ways, which makes for a very intriguing matchup.

C.B. Dollaway (14-5) He has six knockouts, three submissions and 5 decision victories while he has been knocked out twice, submitted twice and lost by decision once. He has been with the UFC since being on the Ultimate Fighter season seven. He had his first actual UFC fight against Amir Sadollah at The Ultimate Fighter 7 Finale on Jun / 21 / 2008, but lost via armbar. Prior to joining the UFC he was on a six fight winning streak. In his last five fights he is 3-2. He lost to Jared Hamman via knockout at UFC Live 5 – Hardy vs. Lytle on Aug / 14 / 2011. He went on a two fight winning streak with wins over Jason Miller via unanimous decision at UFC 146 – Dos Santos vs. Mir on may / 26 / 2012 and Daniel Sarafian via split decision at UFC on FX 7 – Belfort vs. Bisping on Jan / 19 / 2013. He lost to Tim Boetsch via split decision at UFC 166 – Velasquez vs. Dos Santos 3 on Oct / 19 / 2013, but won his last fight over Cezar Ferreira via knockout at UFC Fight Night – Shogun vs. Henderson 2 Mar / 23 / 2014

#9 Francis Carmont (22-8) He has 6 knockouts, 10 submissions and 6 wins by decision. He has been knocked out once, submitted three times and lost by decision four times. Prior to joining the UFC he was on a five fight winning streak. He made his UFC debut against Chris Camozzi which he won via unanimous decision at UFC 137 – Penn vs. Diaz on Oct / 29 / 2011. Following that fight, he went on a five fight winning streak. In his last four fights he is 3-1. He beat Tom Lawlor via split decision at UFC 154 – St. Pierre vs. Condit on Nov / 17 / 2012, then Lorenz Larkin via unanimous decision at UFC on Fox 7 – Henderson vs. Melendez on Apr / 20 / 2013 and then Costas Philippou via unanimous decision at UFC 165 – Jones vs. Gustafsson on Sep / 21 / 2013. However, in his last fight he lost to Ronaldo Souza via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night – Machida vs. Mousasi on Feb / 15 / 2014.

Knockouts: Both fighters have six knockouts in their career’s, but Dollaway leads the way with 40% of his fights ending by knockout compared to Carmont who has 27%.

Final Verdict: Carmont stats might look better on how he wins his fights, but Dollaway leads the way on how to get through a fight. This fight could go either way, but we will have to find out Saturday to find out the true answer.
