From UFC.com:
UFC lightweight contender Kenny Florian will take the mound tonight at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia to throw out the first pitch before the world champion Phillies take the field against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Florian is in town to promote his UFC 101 main event against UFC lightweight champion BJ Penn.
Last week, former WEC featherweight champion Urijah Faber threw out the first pitch at a Stockton Ports game in California, while WEC bantamweight champion Miguel Torres’ scheduled first pitch for the Chicago White Sox was rained out.

its funny they asked florian on mma live when he thought hed be throwing the first pitch for a phillies game and he said maybe after ive won the belt. anyways this is good for mma and great for kenny.
I would love nothing more than if Kenny choked the $hi-ott out of Bj and ending this crazy talk of him being one of the best in the world. To me it is ridiculous. I’m sure others will disagree but IMO he has not beaten a TOP level guy since Hughes years ago. Please don’t anyone say “Daddy” we all know how one dementional he is.
i think his win over a game and motivated sherk was definately impressive, but besides that ya ive always thought penn was a little overated.
Hopefully he doesn’t screw up like bababooey did on the weekend
Yeah, I would agree about Sherk, but were talking best in the world and P4P for christ sakes.
agreed, but dont forget about PULVER!
