Can’t wait for Bj to get smacked around. People are saying on other sites that Kenny can’t stop Bj cause GSP couldn’t and of course GSP is stronger and a better fighter IMO. If people remember right Bj QUIT so St.Pierre didn’t have a chance to FINISH him witch he guaranteed would have if BJ didn’t QUIT. I wonder when the Tickets for 102 go on sale if anyone has heard anything let me know would ya?

Watch the fighter bashing. – Justin

Yeah dude can’t wait to see kenny muay thai the **** out of bj. Wonder what bj’s excuse will be this time after kenflo beats him. I think the only reason GSP didn’t finish penn is because he was having to much fun pounding on him and dominating him. GSP didn’t want to finish him because he was savoring every elbow, and punch to bj’s face (as was i!).

BJ Hasn’t fought anyone with good jitz in a while so i think that’s where florian should take the fight. Florian’s got some sick jitz, not as good as penn’s but good enough to give him trouble and possibly finish him there. Bj should keep the fight standing cuz that’s where he has a great advantage.

All you BJ fans should be praying that bj wins because like i’ve said time and time again, “the prodigy” can’t afford to lose this one or else what he has built up as his “legacy”, will be damaged.
“i only want to be the best. is that too much to ask” haha i think my boy gsp answered that ridiculous question bj

I SEE BJ LOSING AND RETIRING… I CAN’T WAIT FOR THE DAY TO COME. IM SO TIRED OF HEARING HIM CRY AND BICH

    • carls says:

ya im thinking florian by decision, but if bj comes prepared expect a war. i would like to see florian win though, a rematch with sherk or sanchez for the belt would be nice

you can win a trip to UFC 98 by doing some community service and taking pictures/videos and submitting it to BJ on bjpenn.com. they will pick a winner.

i wouldnt normally whore a website like that, but i think the cause is admirable, and i think if there were more contests based on helping local communities the world would be a better place.

    /end soapbox

  • Bj Penn: I used to be a big BJ Penn fan. When he beat Matt Hughes for the 170 title i was excited and it was just amazing to me. No question he is a better fighter now than he was back then. His tecnique is overall a lot better and his skills have definitely improved.

I think he is one of the best overall fighters today, i don’t question that because everyone knows how good the guy is. My problem with him is that he’s a sore loser. When Hughes beat him in their second fight he began to use the escuse that he was not in shape and blah blah blah. But if you see the interviews after he wins a fight….man the guy sounds like the most humble good sportsmanship fighter that everyone should be. When he loses he takes it like a rich baby who’s used to getting everything they want, but when they don’t all they know to do is cry,bi*ch about it and just complain.

He’s for sure not going to go down as the best ever, but he can still go down as the best 155 pounder ever. BJ needs to shut his mouth completely and just focus on fighting, but it seems he doesn’t want to do that. He always wants to take a long break in between fights, but you can’t do that as a champion. Once you defend your title and you succeed, the next guy is waiting to get the same fair shot you got BJ so be more professional and act like a real champion.

If you really think about it, this can technically be his first title defense because Seark never official lost the title until he fought Penn, and the fight with Joe Stevensen was for the vacant title. So he should put his focus on defending the tilte a few times and let everything else go.

BJ Penn is still in his prime and certainly has everything it takes to run through the 155 division, but i feel his lack of commitment and desire to figh will cause his downfall which would be tragic considering all the talent he has and the fact that most people hold him so high as a true great.

Kenny Florian will be his toughest test so far at 155. Florian can challenge him standing and on the ground, unlike his previous opponents at 155 like Seark,Pulver and Stevensen. These guys were one trick ponys but Ken-Flo can stand and submitt you.

If BJ Penn comes in determined to shut people like myself up, and comes in ready to prove that he’s still the “prodigy”, he can still have a great legacy at 155, but forget about being “the best ever” because that will never EVER happen.

I hope BJ smacks him around. and he will. i predict submission by bj with his sick “BJJ”
