Last night, ESPN’s investigative newmagazine series E:60 profiled UFC President Dana White. The show followed White to Nashville and Montreal for recent events and interviewed him on a variety of topics, including his infamous verbal tirade on Loretta Hunt.
Here’s the clips of the segment:

Seemed a little biased to me. They seemed to not reallygo into the interview with an open mind IMO. Most of it was still the neg. stuff people say about the UFC and dana. Funny how these types of stories never show the “Fight for the troops” fight nights free for the military guys. Or the other fight night they put on to support the building of the hospital for like braindamaged soldies.
My thoughts copied from the reminder page:
It seemed like it was more about “Yeah, Dana got the sport here, but it’s not going to get much further with him in charge.” And they made sure to interview Miletich and Ortiz so they could talk about how Dana is a terrible human being and doesn’t care about the people around him.
I learned a bit about his past, but yeah, they followed him four months for that?
What exactly happened with miletich? I know all the ortiz drama…
From a short search of the net I have concluded that his beef has to do with Dana’s feelings toward Miletich’s involvement with the IFL. MMAWeekly has a transcript of some of Miletich’s statements regarding that situation.
I dont know about the miletich stuff Justin. After reading that i belive that dana did do some pushing around but several times miletich made assumptions that could never be proven. Like everytime he said “I belive this is Mr. Whites intent…” well thats really not his to say imo. Overall it seems shady for both parties for me.
It drives me crazy that people refuse to aknowledge MMA as a legit sport, and still see it as senseless violence. Those kind of jackasses clearly don’t know anything about the sport IMO.And as far as dana being rough around the edges,if he didn’t have that attitude most of us probally wouldn’t no jack about mma to somewhat reiterate what lorenzo said. That being said i do feel that dana needs to lighten up a little, and maybe not be quite as involved publicaly.
Thanks for the video’s – I didnt see all of them on ESPN – just curious though, more so in the last video…was the camera man on a boat or something while film?!?! I damn near got sea sick trying to watch it!!!
In all seriousness though, Im a big Dana White fan – I love watching interviews with him – I think he is a brilliant business man and as brash and vulgar he comes across…everytime he speaks his mind on something – I tend to agree with 100%!
