Reminder: Dana White E:60 Special Airs Tonight on ESPN
UFC President Dana White will be featured on the latest installment of ESPN’s E:60, which will air tonight at 7pm ET on ESPN.
Here’s the official description of the segment:
Dana White is not your ordinary sport commissioner. At 39, the president of Ultimate Fighting Championship is both czar and star of one of the world’s fastest growing sports – mixed martial arts. He is at the epicenter of an enterprise that has moved from spectacle to sport in less than a decade. Under White’s leadership the UFC, among the world’s largest providers of pay-per-view programming, has been valued by Forbes at about $1 billion dollars.
White is outside-the-box, and at times, out of control. Last month, he created a national stir after posting a three-minute, profanity-laced tirade on his website aimed at MMA reporter Loretta Hunt. For this story an E:60 crew had unprecedented access to White over a four-month period – following him to UFC events in Las Vegas and Montreal, and travelling with him to New York and Boston. The result is an insightful profile by E:60’s Tom Farrey that takes an in-depth look at White, arguably the most polarizing leader in sports, who has made enemies and allies at nearly every turn.

I nearly forgot about this, setting the DVR now. Should be interesting.
Many thanks for the heads-up.
I wonder how many “beeps” there will be.
I think the over-under on beeps is 50. Im thinking 65. this should be interesting
I didn’t know Tito Ortiz was in the interview also. Interesting, i can’t wait to check this out. Hopefully Dana will talk about future events and fights.
So, I just watched this off my DVR, mostly it was a waste of my time. It seemed like it was more about “Yeah, Dana got the sport here, but it’s not going to get much further with him in charge.” And they made sure to interview Miletich and Ortiz so they could talk about how Dana is a terrible human being and doesn’t care about the people around him.
I learned a bit about his past, but yeah, they followed him four months for that?
What are other peoples’ thoughts?
First off the segment before the Dana one is pretty F~ING sad and we (USA) try to get that kid extradited to try him in NY, not trying to start a political conversation just my personal belief and hey I don’t know the facts but just stating my point of you…..
46 insults in a 3min 11sec clip WOW (Loretta Hunt situation)
Pretty good interview with Dana, hey he actually seems human, krazy.. Good music forsure O it be da Irish southie situation, nice
Pat Miletich comes in with his Affliction shirt and speaking his WAMMA thoughts F~WAMMA, Tito Ortiz attempted to get a claim from the UFC for his back surgery while not employed by ZUFFA… Interesting……
I dislike Robert Reilly his lack of knowledge about MMA (or as he states Ultimate Fighting) is dumbfounding…
It is a good interview but not as in depth as Ultimate Fighting from Blood Sport to Big Time (CNBC) but this was a good look at Dana White and to be honest the man runs the business with passion and vigor that very few can realize in their own industry….
Just decided to type while watching cheers
Agreed on the segment before. That guy that works at the embassy and shipped him back over should be locked up by the Serbian government. Heh, maybe Mayhem can take Bully Beatdown on a field trip to Serbia and show that kid what’s up.
Agreed on “Shipping up to Boston” being a good selection.
Agreed on Wamma, and Reilly (I think Reilly is in the pocket of the SEU like MMAPayout has suggested.) Definitely agree that the CNBC piece was a lot better.
Just watched it. Disappointed. Hardly any real substance to the segment.
I’m glad I’m not the only one that felt that way.
